Is anyone here not glad this season is over to be honest?

I am definitely glad, it's been a hideous league season overall. Martial has been one of the only good things about it in fact, and I'll certainly continue watching him with France.

Will be interesting. I can see there being a few small pockets of discontent, but nothing major.

Probably depends how the City game is going. If they go two goals up in the first 15 minutes for example, I can see our fans throwing a fit.

Imagine if City are losing but we're also 2 goals down and he makes another fullback substitution

Only reason I'm watching this game is because I'm curious to see the atmosphere and reception he gets.
Me as well. Expecting us to labor the entire match. Could be fairly evident the players are not behind LVG if we don't get a convincing result.

He would make a fullback sub and then in after match interview would say - we should have make a pitch bigger yeah so the opponent must run more yeah but we didn't do that. We had many chances, do you remember that Lingard shot yeah, he scores that and we win yeah.

On a more serious note, although that wouldn't be far away from the things he said recently, I really don't care about the game that much, the thing I'm fearing is his speech after the game. If he'll say something like see we shall see each other next year, yeah.

All those bad results in December is what killed us. Not a difficult game on Tuesday. Losing at home to Norwich is unforgivable. Losing at Bournemouth the same, Stoke.

I agree, but 2-1 up with 15 mins to go. Should have got a point, meaning City needed to win.

Is anyone here not glad this season is over to be honest?
I'm definitely glad. This season has tired me greatly. Every weekend has been either waiting for a game or being depressed most of the time after games. Depressed about the results as well as us playing horrendously. I'll watch Euros more relaxed cause I don't care how Croatia will do but that's for another thread or something.

If we don't sack LVG I'll watch Euros with that notion in my head so it won't be so relaxing, quite the opposite, it won't be pretty experience.

    after 20 mins

    City 3-0
    MUFC 0-0

45 mins: Martial-rashford-smalling subbed off. We'll probably end up 6th.

Needing a favour from Swansea after 37 games played is all very sad, and if by some miracle it happened then I think the sight of a smug looking LvG will make me physically ill.

I don't ask for much in life, but please let this be the last time I see LvG in the dugout at Old Trafford

Feck, even a point at West Ham would have given us a much better shot today.

14 minutes. Just keep the ball for 14 minutes. That's all we had to do. Where's the philosophy then? If ever there was a time to keep the ball...

But no, here West Ham, have your 975th free kick around our box.

As much as I want us to qualify for C.L but honestly I can't stand LVG for one more season considering he is staying if we achieved fourth Although we should act like a real big club ( Bayern Barca Real ) and never accept fighting for less than the 1st plot. And to be honest if we deserve being fourth we should have at least made more attempts at Upton park than 3 looking back at that game and comparing ours 3 attempts and westham 20 really show how much we are falling and still. How many fecking wake up calls should be made to the board to realize and prevent us being another Liverpool ??

I'd sacrifice getting fourth to see that cnut out.
The good thing is finally it's season over.

    TEAM NEWS: UNITED
United XI: De Gea, Valencia, Smalling, Blind, Borthwick-Jackson, Carrick, Rooney, Mata, Lingard, Martial, Rashford. Subs: Romero, Jones, Varela, Young, Herrera, Pereira, Memphis.

What else is he to do. Schneiderlin is awful and the less said about Herrera the better. He managed to reach an even lower level vs West Ham.
