If it's obvious that City are going to win, I hope we get absolutely spanked. LVG deserves a final game humiliation at home.
Yes, Let us burn our house so that all those rats living in it deserve to die

Yaaaaaay! We would win then. :D

We would, that's not why I prefer it though. The goal difference rule to me is unfair. For example over the course of the season many factors can contribute to score lines yet head to head settles the difference between two teams.

That's an obscene statement from someone purporting to be a United fan.

Bit rich coming from a Barca fan. ;)

In all seriousness, I do want us to win and expect us to go for it from the first whistle to give us every chance, but if City end up winning, then retrospectively I hope LVG gets shamed with a humiliating loss since a win means diddly squat at that point.

I make no apologies for saying that.

Let the players and LvG feel the discontent. If not before the game, surely afterwards

Still still fuming after last nights result. Our game management after going ahead was appalling. Far to many soft free kicks given away in dangerous areas. Where was the leadership? Wayne was poor, Carrick was ineffective when he came on. Where was the instructions from the sidelines?

All sets up for a hostile atmosphere at Old Trafford Sunday I think. Though there is still a small chance of pipping City to fourth I think the majority has given up all hope. The players and LVG need to be made well aware by match goers of our unhappiness.

even with all the LVG fan-anger, did anyone actually/truly expect him to send the team out in these last two games like they were end of season testimonials? Remember the top 4 run last year? Remember the "WE GO FOR IT"? He has that passion in him but it's completely left the team on the pitch. Where is the "blood and thunder"?

I've gone from "top 4 is ours" to "holy feck we probably won't even try to beat Bournemouth even if city are losing to swansea" in 10 hours :wenger::(

    De Gea
    Valencia--Smalling--Blind--CBJ
    Carrick
    Mata--Rooney
    Januzaj--Rashford--Martial

If Martial isn't 100% then start Memphis.

    Some people think 0-0.
    Some think 1-0.
I am very confident of a 2-0 win. I think it'll be boring and routine.

I realise that people are pissed off with losing to WHU, but that was an away game.
We have one of the best home records in the league, so we will be strong for this game, while Bournemouth (away) are weak.

An appalling attitude that any fan of any club would wish to see them humiliated no matter what reason. I actually don't recognise that sentiment in any way shape or form.

It's also absolutely nonsensical to think that a decision would be made on whether to retain him on the basis of the nature of one result.

I can't wait to see the standing ovation he recieves from the fans for leading us to 5th

I hope we miss out on goal difference. Well, I obviously dont, but there would certainly be something deserving about that scenario.

Yep. Then he will blame the players, when it is his philosophy which doesn't encourage goalscoring. Oh and not having any prolific goalscorers as well.

For as shite as City have been, at least theyve been shite whilst trying to attack and scoring goals. And that will probably be the difference between 4th and 5th.

we will kick off 5 minutes late at half time , city will finish their game losing to swansea , we will be drawing 1-1 and deep into injury time MARTIIIAAAAALLLLLL

Reckon we will win this one - after all we have single games every now and then, although not many back-to-back. Might even be 3-0 but expect City to beat Swansea by the same score

Dude, we need goals. Why would you play Memphis if you need goals?
We need to play our strongest team and that does not include Memphis.
Memphis wouldn't get into my third XI.. quite literally I'd take every junior before him. It's one thing to think you are Ronaldo when you are Ronaldo - trouble is Memphis is closer to me than Christiano

This will be similar to 11/12 season, only us and City be scrapping for top four at the last day of the season, rather than the title. How times have changed, eh?

Anyway...I still have faith and believe (hope) Swansea will beat City on Sunday and we'll do the job against Bournemouth.

We must have faith. It's not over yet.
    they think it's all over...

Think we'll do this lot but it'll all be too little too late I'm afraid.

That pie chart is silly. United will win easy, any Bournemouth or draw predictions are people being silly and over reacting to the West Ham loss

Most thought we'd beat West Ham somehow despite our shocking away record. The 0-5s are daft but the pie chart is realistic. Our team is terrible.

any old line up will do, Bournemouth are on the beach, and City will not lose to a Swansea team with half their stars already resting!

Such a shame we turnen that 2-1 into a 2-3 so quickly. Even the draw would have given a smidgen of hope!

It's not. United are bad, but not bad enough to drop points at home to Bournemouth in the last home game of the season

We dropped points to Norwich at home didn't we? They are relegated. At least Bournemouth are still in the league. It won't be beyond us to drop points again. And even if we win its going to be by a maximum of one goal.

Do they have tall players who are good headers of the ball ? if yes, then we will struggle.

The season is almost over finally. I couldn't care less as soon this nightmare is over and we get Mourinho that's I hope.

Anything is possible, but it doesn't mean it will happen. It's obvious United will win if we think about it seriously. Therefore the pie chart being only 50% for United to win (as it was on my first post) is a bit silly. It may just be 1-0, but United will definitely win

You know what? I'm sure we will win. This is pure mental gymnastics, but there's just no way we'll lose our last game at home. The world revolves around me, and when I truly feel that we'll win, we'll win. white text

City will park the bus rather than risk anything.

So our cunning plan should be to beat Bournemouth 19-0

I think this will have definitely occurred to the fiendishly shrewd Louis

Seeing as top 4 is effectively over, we should just use this game to showcase youth and try to play some exciting football. Of course that'll never happen though.

    de Gea
    Valencia Smalling Blind Fosu-Mensah
    Herrera Schneiderlin
    Januzaj Pereira Martial
    Rashford

We'll 19-0 these fools and City will draw in Wales. Top 4 is in the bag!

Pereira definetly deserves the chance, specially when other players in his position is underperforming! Yet he isn't even on the bench...The only changes I would do to your line-up is Carrick in for Schneiderlin and probably CBJ for FM cause I prefer the first one as LB. Wouldn't mind seeing someone else than Blind as CB either...McNair or heck, even Tuanzebe after that horrible last match Blind had.

Can you imagine the euphoria if we do attempt to score 19 goals in 1 game.
I think the fans would go crazy in the stadium.
And at the end of the game, LVG will tell the fans that he is now ready to release the final phase of his 3 years philosophy: to score 5+ goals in every match!

Swansea are going to be without several key players, whether through injury or just because its a nothing game for them and they don't want to risk injury before the Euros, so this game is going to be meaningless for us
