Shearer has taken the chants to heartChampagne football? No. We won. We had some good moments. For awhile we looked like we were implementing this new RR style. Then we reverted to sloppiness and a bit of laziness.
If Greenwood would have brought his shooting boots things would have been a lot easier. He got into scoring positions at least 3 times, on his "favored left foot" and had 3 tame efforts. Still, he was miles better than Rashford.
Tonight was Cavani's turn to fluff his lines.
Good to see VDB, Lingard, and Elanga get minutes. Based on these cameos they should have started.

He got the goal and made some blocks. De Gea didn't have enough to do. I thought Varane and Shaw played pretty well also.Woeful passing and tackling 2nd to almost every ball.
