That has always been the case for ever in Europe. English clubs, including us have seen this again and again. In Europe teams always play so much better with ball, usually their individual qualities tend to be poorer but their teams tend to be more functional.

Fair play to St Etienne, they've come out all guns blazing and have looked dangerous. We're pretty lucky to be ahead but at the same time, we've created some nice chances. They won't be able to run and press like that for all of the second half so I still think we'll win
