Romero rarely concedes goals.
I assume that Jose feels that Romero needs to get some playing time, so he stays with us.
Not really what it's about. It's important to have a good backup GK who is getting first team football. Romero is a good GK and we need him fit if DDG gets injured. We also need him to actually play games to keep him happy.

And I am a bit nervous about Romero.
Romero is a good goalkeeper. It's not like we're fielding someone likely to concede goals whenever the opposition have a shot.
Love those sparkling eyes of his too. Cool as ice.I really don't get the hate for Fellaini, yes he has off games but everyone does. He is a player that is suited to only certain matches, would have been the perfect option for both Hull games. He is actually very good with the ball at his feet and plays a good simple game, people would be surprised if they actually watched him play properly throughout the game rather than mimicking those brainless fools and giving up on him before the whistle has blown.
He scores big goals and gets 24 hours of appreciation for it then back to the normal abuse. Some people just need to give it a rest /rant

It's just you. He's not 'resting' De Gea, he's giving Romero a game. Standard practice. Not many (if any?) clubs keep their reserve keeper on the bench all season long. That would be incredibly demotivating.
I can remember Carrick, Shaw, Rooney, Rojo and Ibra being out of games due to illness. Jose may be using this as an excuse when he wants to drop/rest players.An..... interesting lineup to say the least.
