So lads, where we all hiding this afternoon? Under a table? Behind the sofa? In the shed?![]()
We're playing for top four. Arteta won't allow the players to take that for granted. And with the quality in the league and our ability to drop points in games we should be winning, we shouldn't. The jeopardy level is not particularly high but it's there.Arsenal playing for there runners up trophy and the ‘we almost won the league’ trophy
Nine clear with 10 games to play top 4 for Arsenal is as good as done already. We're playing for top four. Arteta won't allow the players to take that for granted. Ouch. Poor Gunners fans.Arsenal playing for there runners up trophy and the ‘we almost won the league’ trophy
There’s a risk anytime a player steps onto the training ground. Shall we start resting players from training? Why risk anything? Any of the players could get injured, for one. And a week is hardly "a long period of rest". Garnacho, Bruno, Zirkzee, De Ligt, Mazroui, and Dalot should all sit at least half the game against Arsenal. They've all been essentially constants playing 2x a week the last few weeks.
Maguire and Ugarte were both recently hurt with "knocks" in games. And 2x of full 90s likely does lead to worse performance.
There's just no stinking reason to risk anything. The game vs Sociedad is literally 100x the importance to the club. Play the kids against Arsenal. Heaven, Obi Martin, Amass, a few other academy players... Then add in Lindelof/Case/Eriksen. You can make an 11 without adding more strain to most key players.
Best we can hope is that we beat sociedad on Thursday to try and give us a tiny bit of hope of winning something and then grind through to the final. It’s funny because we’re the only team in Europe unbeaten including the champions league teams.Going to be a strange couple of months ahead watching United.
Absolutely nothing to play for, and with no leaders on the pitch to maintain any standards, it could get ugly.
Another defeat today makes no difference so just find a beer garden and enjoy the sunshine with the football on in the background.
We still take the game seriously. Do you really want to see us concede a load of soft goals to this lot?Maybe the players are also thinking about the big picture. What's the point in winning a personal duel in the here and now? How would that help?
Neither do Man Utd.Arsenal have no strikers
Sounds like you’ve started alreadyGetting a taxi to OT at 2 for some pints beforehand. Zerio expectations for a result.
Just hope we score at least 1
Scoring is what we struggle to do at home especially.Getting a taxi to OT at 2 for some pints beforehand. Zerio expectations for a result.

A few have already started that before you mate. Unofficially anyway.A big defeat and I am starting the Amorim Out thread.
In the beer garden. At least I’ll have something to help forget it.So lads, where we all hiding this afternoon? Under a table? Behind the sofa? In the shed?![]()
Arsenal have no strikers
I’m currently checking up flights to LyonDoes anyone really care about the remaining league games? Feels like we’ll be rightfully more interested in getting past Sociedad.
They consistently find themselves in dangerous positions and generate quality opportunities, though. In contrast, while we have strikers, we struggle to create meaningful chances.
Forget happiness than....No howler from our keeper and I'm happy enough
Generally no but I do care about Arsenal. Don’t want to lose to them, especially badly, and at homeDoes anyone really care about the remaining league games? Feels like we’ll be rightfully more interested in getting past Sociedad.
They actually only have 8 more shots on target than us, however I'd suspect they'll be of a higher quality.
Still in the tumble dryer.Sky were in the United dressing room earlier and Ugarte’s jersey wasn’t there for anyone who wants to change the line up
