Heaven, Amass, Collyer, Obi should all start. Don't think we'd win this game with any kind of first 11 but 4 young/academy players should give their all. Something like playing bunch of kids vs Arsenal back in 2016. Only downside would be some of them perhaps making a mistake or two and losing confidence but don't think there would be too much scrutiny and criticism about that. Our season is basically Sociedad game and whether we go through in that one.

We're playing for top four. Arteta won't allow the players to take that for granted. And with the quality in the league and our ability to drop points in games we should be winning, we shouldn't. The jeopardy level is not particularly high but it's there.

Nine clear with 10 games to play top 4 for Arsenal is as good as done already.

This league hasn't been high on quality this season instead we have City in 4th and Fulham 10th separated by five points highlighting the lack of consistency among teams this season.

Having to play Arsenal and Real Sociedad twice in a week feels like such a drag. Three games between two teams that look busy, but offer very little. I expect a total snore fest unless a blunder or a set piece changes the dynamic of the game.

Going to be a strange couple of months ahead watching United.

Absolutely nothing to play for, and with no leaders on the pitch to maintain any standards, it could get ugly.

Another defeat today makes no difference so just find a beer garden and enjoy the sunshine with the football on in the background.

There's just no stinking reason to risk anything. The game vs Sociedad is literally 100x the importance to the club. Play the kids against Arsenal. Heaven, Obi Martin, Amass, a few other academy players... Then add in Lindelof/Case/Eriksen. You can make an 11 without adding more strain to most key players.

De Ligt, Mazraoui and Zirkzee have all had their minutes managed with the first two either not appearing or being benched.
Bruno and Dalot are very capable of playing back to back games.

It is utterly irresponsible to throw a load of kids into this situation against a team like Arsenal. There’s detrimental effects to receiving heavy beatings. Remember what happened when we lost 7-0 to them… the downward spiral after that game.

There is also absolutely no evidence that this group of players play better purely because they get a week off between games.

Best we can hope is that we beat sociedad on Thursday to try and give us a tiny bit of hope of winning something and then grind through to the final. It’s funny because we’re the only team in Europe unbeaten including the champions league teams.

I hate losing to Arsenal as much as anyone but I just think we need to give ourselves the best chance possible on Thursday against Real Sociedad. We have quite a few players that have looked really leggy in the latter stages of the last few games, De Ligt, Bruno, Maz, Zirkzee, Garnacho and with Maguire and Ugarte picking up knocks we are really struggling. If we go out then the rest of the season for everyone at the club is going to be a real downer, stay in and even though it is unlikely we go on to win it gives us a bit of hope and positivity for as long as we keep going. We have also been so shite that even if we go full strength v Arse we very likely will still get beat. With Arsenals injuries it might not be as tough for a second string eleven either.

We are in a no win situation. A loss is fully expected. A win on counter attack doesn't do much for our game. A good performance would probably reflect our level as game raisers. Only hope is to see some youngsters but doubt Amorim has the courage for that.

The reality is, they get into far better goalscoring positions, and the stats back it up. They're 5th in xG, while we're down in 14th. They're also 5th in goals scored, whereas we sit at 15th. Across nearly every attacking metric, they outperform us.
