Hojlund was the one who passed to Garnacho in that sequence so he was behind him. Besides as we've seen about 10 times, Garnacho didn't do anything with it anyways.

Hojlund's run are as inconsistent as to whether there is going to be a ball into the box or pass into feet.

TLDR; they're just as bad as each other except Garnacho et al get the ball about 10x as much in a game to do whatever they want.

You want to give Hojlund the benefit of doubt because he is young and got some goals this season but his overall game is so poor that it's hard to see it with him. May be he can be an Ole type super-sub next season. A quality striker is a must this summer.
