Can't remember the last time I felt so unenthused about a match.

In the unlikely event we win (and yet I wouldn't put it past this team to randomly show up when least expected to) we gift city the title. If we lose, it's just another utterly depressing defeat, miss out on Europe entirely and city probably still win the title regardless.

Just want this season to end. I feel like I've said that three seasons in a row now. Then I can enjoy the football feast that is the Euros, whilst spending three months joint top of the table

I can absolutely see a performance where Arsenal have 65% possession, but Maguire from a corner wins it.

Yeah, I pretty much end each season completely unenthused, and eager to see it end, nowadays.

I can't even enjoy the summer international tournaments as much anymore - as most of the players are the same ones who play for / played for our PL rivals and so there's no 'distance' there like there used to be in the old days when you were watching players and nations you rarely got to see.

I tend to need the summer as a chance to escape from the previous 9 month nightmare of seeing us be shit and City and Liverpool receiving endless plaudits - and the inevitable 9 months ahead of the same damn thing - so watching those same players in international tournaments inbetween doesn't help with the escape from that.

He can't play the position, like Hojlund wouldn't be able to play as a DM, or Martinez as a striker.

He shouldn't be been asked to play there, and it's to his credit that he is doing it, as it's making him look a fool.

Why not play Dalot at CB with Evans, and ask Antony to play at LB? Probably because he knows Antony would be even worse than Casemiro out of position, or he's already thrown his toys out for been asked to do it.

He’s played that position for Madrid in the past. It’s not completely alien to him. The likes of Carrick & Keane have had to play cb in the past in a crisis and they’ve never looked so hopeless. He’s doing all the things he’s done all season in midfield. Throwing himself into challenges, diving in when he’s got no chance of getting the ball, being caught out of position due to lack of discipline, giving the ball away trying ridiculous passes. That has nothing to do with position but his complete lack of application. He plays as if he’s having a kick about down the park. He zoned out a long time ago and is clearly just phoning it in until he can leave.
