    Don't worry, we are not.
     
    That goal is criminal.
    We all know the first Casemiro mistake but then stays in no man's land.
    But Wan Bissaka doesn't for one second even think about the risk behind him.

    It took 2 years for ETH to admit Amad is better than his 80M signing.

    Nah, with Mainoo the other options are not only worse but all of them are a certain to leave or injured.

    With Amad, it is either Garnacho or Antony who are chosen, even if wrongly. ETH is desperate to make Antony a good signing even when it us never going to happen.
     
    Amad looking good. Amrabat having a decent game. Dalot in promising positions and helping us progress.

    If it weren’t for Casemiro’s defending I’d have said we’ve been the better team.
     
    We've actually been decent here. Both our attack and defense has structure. Yes, individual errors have cost us but we know how limited some of our players are and that can't be changed mid-season. So I want to give EtH some credit for setting us up well.

    But I have to lambast his decision to play Antony over Amad when both are fit. What the feck has he been watching in training? Amad has looked great against one of the most solid defense in the league. Him, Mainoo and Dalot have done well. Garnacho has had his moments too.

    There is a chance for us here as long as it stays 1-0. I wish we could get Bruno out of the stands and take off McT. Even half fit I have more faith in Bruno finding a forward pass than McT. For now we can only hope those that are out there can produce something.
     
    Can't see where we are going to get a goal from. I expect us to be gifted a chance by Raya in the second half only for us to mess it up.
     
    I’ve been very vocal in saying Amad has world class potential.

    Must have watched a different half. Or your expectations are on the floor. Arsenal have been vulnerable and I think most teams would be at least on level terms. They’re beating us even when they’re choking

    It seems to me you're trying to excuse AWB's involvement in the goal. He didn't cover his guy, the most direct threat and the one in his closest vicinity. It's not rocket science.

    Plenty of blame to go around, including for AWB, but he’s not the first one I’d go to. I’m mainly commenting on how quick people are to jump on him.
     
    @Eriku just watching the replay at half time and AWB was looking at his guy the entire time and switches off at the last second. I think the weird one is that he tries to block the shot instead of the man. He actually goes in front of him and gives him an easier finish.

    Look it's mostly on Casemiro on me but it's typical AWB defending I've seen dozens of times. So infuriating.
     
    have they changed the rules about penalties... no suddenly getting a touch negates it? not what I've seen this season... and always told intent is irrelevant. that's a penalty for me and I expect we'll concede one like it again before the season ends
     
    Amad has had his own problems, he looks a lot better in work rate now but there were games this season where he was bad, and got shouted at from Bruno mid game for not working backwards.

    I dont think Ten hag disputes his quality on the ball, but he needed to sharpen himself off it.

    That's been the same problem since wan bissaka joined. He is not of the level needed.
     
    Well happy with that half. We've been even better you could say but conceded that goal as Casemiro isn't actually CB and we all knew that. Also think Evans and AWB should've done better there, all looked too easy for Arsenal.

    Another half of this game to go. Just don't get thrashed.
     
    Are people really surprised that Wan-Bissaka fell asleep at the back post? We've seen this for years since Ole signed him.
     
    @Lash , first off, I was reading the women's FA Cup final thread and saw that you've just had a baby so congratulations!

    Second, what have you made of Amad so far? Personally, I think he's been our brightest player.

    He is being a total asshole. Nobody is that bad. That is simply not giving a shit, anymore. Has not given a shit for most of the season, really
     
    Amad has been the best player on the pitch for me, crazy how bad a decision maker ETH is.

    Not really true, Mainoo was always part of his plans, he had him earmarked to move up and play midfield a few months after he got the job. He had to wait longer to get him in due to his injuries in the summer.
