    I know options are limited but this has to be the worst squad and starting lineup of the season.
     
    So with the personnel at your disposal, how would you line the team up?

    I've got:

    --------------------------------Onana
    --------------------McTominay---Evans
    AWB-------------------------------------------------Dalot
    ---------------------Casemiro--Amrabat
    ----Diallo----------------Mainoo-----------Garnacho
    ----------------------------Hojlund

    McTominay plays that position for Scotland at times(?) and Casemiro is rubbish at CB; seems a no-brainer. Also some aggression and combative energy in midfield.

    Still get murdered, but by 4 instead of 8.
     
    The left back situation is pure incompetence and after seeing AWB play 10+ times there i refuse to believe there's not a player in the reserves able to do a job he's a fecking disaster
     
    We have a chance…to make it to the final whistle without losing any more players.
     
    Rashford and Bruno presumably ducking the impending rout to protect themselves for the euros.

    McTominay will play behind Hojlund, ETH values his abilities in and around the box. He played in a back 3 for Scotland.

    Same with Casemiro at centre back.

    Yeah I'd go with that. We can't play Casemiro in defence again and the MF would be kind of strong(relatively speaking).

    On their day both can be utterly brutal if we're honest.
    At least Dalot can add something to the attack on his proper side.

    Just swap Dalot and AWB positions or , if we don't have a LB in reserves, bring in a RB and put Dalot on the left.
     
    Seems clear that we will go long to McTominay and Hojlund to avoid their press. Smart move probably.

    It'll be half past midnight in my location and I have a early morning appointment so I have a legit reason at least. Sad missing Amad's start, but then again Casemiro will likely put out his regular trash performance, McT will probably ghost as usual and then liable for a braindead moment or two. Garnacho is also shoein to selfishly waste the few chances that will come his way by not passing or shooting at the right time.

    Good luck to the team though, they definitely need it against this Arse team. I hope the whole team miraculously turns up and we beat them! I certainly would like wake up to a miracle rather than another disaster.
     
    Anyone claiming that that line up and level of injury shouldn't be a big impact is absolutely deluded

    If we can actually win any aerial duels or 50/50s. Hojlund is not particularly good in the air and I doubt he’ll win many against the Arsenal centrebacks.

    FTFY, and I don’t even think it’s much of an exaggeration. Even in cup games against non league teams we’ve had a reasonably stacked bench to draw from if needed. We’ve got absolutely nothing here.

    That seems a far better idea than having our back four try and play through their high press.
     
    This is going to be a hard watch, not sure what Erik could have done better given the injuries. Maybe start Hojlund on bench for say Forson.
     
    Casemiro Amrabat and Scotty at CB? absolutely no midfield? it's a disgrace that there's no one from the academy to step up. all SAF's work has been destroyed by years of neglect
     
    Really terrible team and bench, the sad thing is that when we get destroyed Ten Hag has all his excuses ready made for him. He'll be safe for a while this way.

    I've been saying that since he arrived. he's the Taibi of left backs
     
    Looking forward to seeing McTominay and Hojlund as a combo. Think that could be a decent partnership and cause them problems with their physicality.
