Lindelof MOTM. Says it all.
No one knows mate, no one knows
The sign of poor management is not recognising who the poor performers in the team and whipping them off. Taking Fernandes off before Pogba on its own is unforgivable. I mean I would not expect that from a rubbish Football Manager player. You can see Pogba is having a 3/10 performance, so get rid. In the end the only creator was subbed when we needed him on the pitch.

Hopefully mate
Ok, if this ends bad, we know who to blame.
I don’t disagree, but starting McT & Fred against a team like this, we’re effectively trotting our 10 v 11.You dont take off the tape thats holding together a defence with giant cracks in it. You take off other more defensive players and attacking players who arent performing. You still need 1 person to sit
I didn't pick Matic as a sub so am absolved from all responsibility, otherwise got 16points for the Line up prediction.
Otherwise pretty crap going forward. I blame Lamela.
It’s the easy decision to sub the young player. How are people
Surprised. Greenwood is always the attacking sub regardless of performance.
Agree could have done with that today, it seems though oles trying to shoe horn his best 11 into the team. The CL games have been better, cause he can use 5 subs.We miss Martial his hold up play helps us get out from the back.
They haven't won at OT since 2006, that is a big weight off their shoulders.how low have arsenal fallen that they are celebrating like they won a trophy
I think oles tactics are he has to play his best 11 he thinks! In CL he hasn't, because of the 5 subs, if it's 5 subs today, Pogba is benched, comes on when teams are getting more open, he cant defend that's 2 or 3 simlar pens he's given away, running back into box.Ole either doesn’t have the balls to drop him Pogba or he kept him on for the physical duel with Partey.
Correct, is Ole ever going to find the consistency needed? I still don't think he is going to be good enough. Our worse start to a top flight season for; how pigging long?Same old bullshit. Good performance followed by a shite one. We'll never get back to the top until we find that consistency.
Agree has tactically out of his depth at times, Arsenal just kept leaving Maguire, and lindelof in possesion, surely he could see that! Them two aren't going to find a telling pass. I would have rather seen pogba or Bruno deeper so they could give him the ball, that pushes there CM further up . And the disappointing thing is this is a poor Arsenal side.I've already made peace in my mind that if we want to seriously improve as a club and start challenging again, then Ole isn't the one who can take us there. He just hasn't got it in him to grind out the results or to take us up another level. We need a more inspirational character.
Feel exactly the same. He's really improved the squad but the performances aren't there. Poch is the obvious choice and a good choice too.I love Ole to bits- he’s improved our squad massively in my opinion but he has to go. This can’t go on

Our defense isn’t that bad as to where we need to waste an offensive player to be defensive. I posit that we just aren’t that good offensively yet to not start someone like VdB.
We also played some more attacking teams than the one we played today. I feel we could have achieved the same result today with one holding MF. Who knows what we could have done offensively with VdB in the lineup from the start?Yes it is. The only reason we've done better recently is because of having 2 DMs. Our CBs are weak without it

That’s why having one more linkup player in the midfield could have been beneficial. Compounding the same skill sets of both McT & Fred doesn’t always work. Arsenal was pressing, but not really that threatening in the first half & beginning the second.Arsenal were very attacking today. Their front player Lacazette was always pressing, winning 3 tackles in the first half more than any United player in the entire game. And Saka intercepted 4 times on the left. So Arsenal were high up the pitch and attacking. We struggled to get past that initial press and bring our attacking players into the game.

It’s a philosophical difference we’re discussing. I say we should try it with one holding going forward as you can only draw if you don’t score.
This isn’t the first match with McT & Fred where we’ve had these issues. Yes, we did have four CMs, but two are woefully deficient in their offensive skills, that’s just not who they are. Having those two duplicate each other on many levels effectively makes us a 10 v 11 team offensively. We had 4 CMs across the midfield, there should have been passing options but Arsenal pressed high and our players struggled to find a good pass or control a pass when it came into them.
bruno was worse than pogba today outside of the pen. in the end they were both set up to fail because of oles terrible tactics.

Daniel James will be sat at home thinking, Phew! At least they can't blame me for that sh*tshow.
And likewise he could learn how to play football.People give James stick, but some of our players could learn from his pressing and enthusiasm off the ball.
That wasn't football from us today, so he won't learn much from his teammates. And likewise he could learn how to play football.
