The diamond didn’t work today though, and a midfield trio with 2 of Bruno/VdB/Fred won’t work.

5 and the back is an option until we get the right players in. Then we could play VdB alongside say Fred with Bruno in front of him and 2 strikers. It’s the most balanced approach.

Said earlier in the thread but today has been a very similar game to the Spurs game but Arsenal aren't as clinical. We should’ve lost by 3 or so today.

I'm Ole in, but today I have to say feck Ole and feck his tactics. From the start we didn't look promising going forward. Arsenal's midfield owned us in every department. I can't believe we didnt create a decent opportunity not even once across 90 minutes against this shitty pathetic Arsenal defense line. We brought in a world-class striker, we give him barely a few minutes, we brought in VDB and we field him in the last 15-20 mis hoping he would win us the match. After today, OGS should have a look at himself and wonder why we look good in the CL and that pathetic in the league, what a terrible combination of tactics and subs today, feck you Ole.

We deserved to loose. Arsenal were the better side. We created few chances. This is the story of the season. UTD are poor in possession and barely create anything when the other team's defense is set. But are devastating in the counter attack.

Kind of exposes what wrong with the team. Players making poor decisions. Lack of tempo or intensity and then people trying to force things and again making stupid decisions.

Got to say it goes to show why we need Martial because he will get a hold of the ball and try to bring others in to it. Also takes more care in the final 3rd with the ball.

The sign of poor management is not recognising who the poor performers in the team and whipping them off. Taking Fernandes off before Pogba on its own is unforgivable. I mean I would not expect that from a rubbish Football Manager player. You can see Pogba is having a 3/10 performance, so get rid. In the end the only creator was subbed when we needed him on the pitch.
