He's injured for feck sake. Rather than moan some of you should actually follow united news.
You've got more chance of knitting smoke than match day posters stopping moaning.

Recruitment, squad depth, quality, tactics, mental strength .... all average. I still look at this and think we attack their defence and we've got a chance. Bit of optimism never hurt eh? :) (or blind faith/stupidity maybe)

    BBC said:
Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer: "We want to make sure they [the young players] trust themselves, play composed. There will be spaces for both teams so it's about making the right decisions.

"It's two attacking teams. We have to stamp our authority on the game and try to play in their half but be aware of their counter-attacking pace. We need to win the ball back as soon as we can. The first goal is always important in these games."

On Aaron Wan-Bissaka's exclusion: "He has been ill over the weekend so that was a decision we finally made yesterday. Hopefully we will have him back soon.

I swear, when I became a member, this place was much better. Most of the good/great posters are hiding, and the moaners are out in full force. Why moan before the match even starts?
It's downright awful. I don't know why am I here. It's like you hate it but you still do it. :D

My nan could score past arsenal and she's been dead a few years. We are going to paste them. 2-0 United, and it won't do us justice.

People want Matic in, holy shit, why people are bunch of Dorys

I cant wait till 5 year time when we look back at this starting attack of

    Rashford
    james pereira lingard
Im hoping when that time comes we are all able to smile and revel in the knowledge we have truly suffered. Till then lets just hold on boys.

You're seeing something 90 percent of people don't. Oh and mythical freeing Pogba up. I love that.
Maybe but i doubt it if you actually watch the matches and ignore narratives.

You think Ole having Pogba playing defensive mid in a pivot is where he is supposed to be playing?

A lot of people have decent to interesting to good comments, but they get lost in the shit storms.

Every game this season, get a grip on reality more like

A slight exaggeration, but he's played more than is to be expected from a 17 year old. I'm glad you're not the manager. He should be eased in. If Rashford is fit, he should be playing at this stage, and then we have Greenwood to come off the bench.

There used to be a saying, if you have nothing good to say... In here it's more, if you are able to moan...

Pereira can do a job out wide. Fred can't. Lingard will be playing as #10. Playing Fred out wide makes us even more defensive and devoid of any width. Now you could argue that Lingard should've been pushed to the right and Pogba further up which would open the space in midfield for Fred. I can sort of see that working.

I wasn't arguing that Fred should play out wide. I was suggesting Fred should be in a midfield 3 with Pogba and Mctominay and then Lingard would play on the right and Pereira would be on the bench. Although neither of Lingard or Pereira should be playing on the wing in the first place.

We have so many top managers here. They know who should play where, without even seeing the team on the training ground this week, just imagine what they can do if they were actually training the team and had more data about the fitness and state of mind of each players!

Let's stay positive people, we saw when the caf likes a line up what happens next, so let's just be positive, support the team, you'll have your chance to slag off Ole and the team after the game!

Axel at RB, then? He's not very good there, is he?

Is this Saka guy any good? Never heard of him, let alone seen him play.

    I'm not moaning, I've predicted a 5-0 win :P :D

    Disappointing line up.
Dont know why Lingard and Periera are starting, done nothing to deserve that, but lets hope they have a good game:nervous:
    Fred benched for some reason..
Wanted Greenwood to start too but i guess we need something coming off the bench if needed.

I think we have a chance if Pogba turns up.

Maybe but i doubt it if you actually watch the matches and ignore narratives.

You think Ole having Pogba playing defensive mid in a pivot is where he is supposed to be playing?
Where is he supposed to play. Left in a 3 midfield. Oh I know I know, number 10!
I watch matches, ask about 15 people and I bet 14 of them would tell you Matić is past it. You live in a fantasy world. That's what hating Ole and adoring Pogba does.

Oh the team is a bit shit? Cor blimey, stone the crows, it's not like it's been on the cards all week...

It's actually better than I was expecting with Rogba and Pashford back.

I like the sound of Rogba and Pashford.

It's downright awful. I don't know why am I here. It's like you hate it but you still do it. :D

It's like an addiction - you know it's bad for you, but... And, from time to time, there are some truly great posts to read in here! Keep on marching, mate!:D

Would have gone for three at the back looking at the players available, 3-5-2 with Young and Dalot/Williams on either flank then 3 of Pogba, Mctominay and Fred with Rashford and Greenwood as the two strikers. Solid and electric on the break. Pogba in a midfield 2 against a technical side like Arsenal is asking for trouble whilst Lingard and Pereira are out of form and not good enough. Maybe Lingard will find his scoring boots tonight, not holding my breath.

Tuanzebe is a central defender who can also play at right back. Let us see how he does today. Ole obviously doesn't trust Dalot.

Greenwood on the bench with Pereira, Lingard and Rashford as a CF starting . I guess we don't need a new striker even with Martial out, great.

Stronger lineup than normal recently, hope Rashford is fit and not being rushed back into action. It would be nice to 8-2 be an Arsenal fan again.

As i said 45min total in the league to every game isn't a slight exaggeration.

If we were a proper team and performing well no one would be arguing Greenwood should be starting today, it's about context. We're not and several players are underperforming so when you have a special player available even if he's a wildcard you go for it.

Hopefully Lingard or Periera have a scorcher but it'll be a surprise.

All kidding aside, I hope that doesn't happen. We'd be fecked until Martial comes back

Well that is only 1 more game, away to Castle.
    But yes.

Although Greenwood would surely then start!

Where is he supposed to play. Left in a 3 midfield. Oh I know I know, number 10!

Past it Matic with McTominay & Pogba higher up is much better than Pogba in defensive midfield with Lingard ahead of him.

One has a chance of achieving something whilst the other is the same old tripe that we've seen fail every week. That is my reasoning. Don't you agree?

Until someone can actually justify why we bought Fred or what unique quality he brings (especially equivalent to how much we paid for him).

Its another signing Woodward made to spite city and feed his ego because he read on The Daily Mail Pep wanted him
