    You're really not a fan of Matic huh? Him & McTominay are a solid pairing. Matic is well rested and defensive, that allows Pogba to be free to go forward. Much rather that than Pogba in a pivot. That's the worst option to choose with our inept attack.
     
    Some posters here are a disgrace to this Football club.

    Pogba and Rashford back is a big boost for us. Let's do them like we usually do.
     
    Strange team... I suppose we are going to die? Why use Rashford who is injured, that's not normal. He still is going to limp for sure.

    Well for starters they dont play in the same position , FFS I swear that this match day thread is one of the worst ever and thats before the game even starts, some on here are no better than the United fans that post on Facebook !!
     
    Just watching the build up on Sky. The teams both us and Arsenal used to have compared to now...

    I feel so bad for Rashfords potential career because he's been shoe horned and convinced by everyone around him that hes a #9. Literally every pundit for last few years has talked about how hes a #9, when it was clear as day hes much better from the wing and could at least play for a mid-table side there long term.

    Now that he consistently gets starts there and is awful he has a coach that thinks "having faith" will give him the natural ability of a #9 some how.

    Think we wont win this one, could get ugly if Arsenal's attack is on. Only hope is they are shit defensively and we raise our game.

    Oh here it comes Greenwood isnt ready to start vs Arsenal (due his age), ye Rashford probably wasnt ready either at the time. God knows we have plenty ready players who are killing out there, experienced, true winners.

    I hope it's a midfield 3 with Pogba further forward. Without Martial and with Greenwood on the bench, we need quality in attack that can only come from him.

    Provided Rashford is indeed fit, and wasn't just rushed back in to the side while still carrying an injury, which I suspect he was :-/

    Pereira can do a job out wide. Fred can't. Lingard will be playing as #10. Playing Fred out wide makes us even more defensive and devoid of any width. Now you could argue that Lingard should've been pushed to the right and Pogba further up which would open the space in midfield for Fred. I can sort of see that working.

    I've watched every match and i've seen Matic being slated for ok performances. He would suit a purpose, which is to free Pogba up where we need him most.

    What makes you think, Pogba in a pivot will suddenly work tonight? When all the past evidence points to the complete opposite.

    That’s what I admired with LVG he would not play a player if he is not fit when you know they would not perform to the level you need them and likely to have further injuries.

    I know some people like that, they are called.. "Fair weather fans" Willing to support any team that is winning. The meaning being that they are not really fans of any team, they just go with the flow.

    You're seeing something 90 percent of people don't. Oh and mythical freeing Pogba up. I love that.

    Rashford looked much better when he first broke out than Greenwood has thus far. His all round game has been poor but should be expected for a 17 year old.

    Unless he's playing as a striker then she shouldn't be playing at all.

    It's actually better than I was expecting with Rogba and Pashford back.
