So, anyone reckon he won't play Pogba, because he's a spiteful little shit?

Midfield of Matic, McT & Fellatio anybody? :nervous:

Spiteful, because Pogba was awful, or spiteful because we all hate Mourinho. I would have no issues with Pogba not starting. His attitude was abysmal.

We will beat Arsenal tomorrow night, giving Mourinho an extended stay of execution until January. It's all but guaranteed.

Still too late for me. I'm certain I'm going to miss the game, which can be a blessing in disguise.

Assuming Dalot and Rojo are the only ones fit and available.
Smalling tend to 'recover' quickly (= available) after each of his injury.
Bet Darmian to 'recover' way quicker than Valencia/Bailly/Jones/Shaw.

    ---

    'Defensive Workrate' priority.

    Manager: EMou

    De Gea
    Dalot--McTominay--Fellaini--AutoMatic--Rojo
    Lingard--Herrera--Fred
    Rashford--Lukaku

Subs: Martial, Mata, Pereira, Virus, Darmian, Smalling, Romero

On the plus side, finally :devil:Captain De Gea?!

Young suspended and shit capt Valencia is also like out.
Virus is also likely benched, doubt Paul will get dropped out, and even if he starts, unlikely to be the capt.
F.y. Mou if Matic/Lukaku wear the armband.

If we are behind at half time, I expect us to win the 2nd half.
If it a draw after the 1st half, then in the 2nd half, I expect AFC to beat us.
Generally speaking we only attack when there is nothing to lose, otherwise, we seem content with a draw. And after getting a draw, Jose feels content, while slamming our players for lacking energy.

He went for a strong challenge near the end of the game and didnt look right after that. Thought it was just a simple knock though rather than a full blown injury ffs.

He's the equivalent of that fat cow at work who is always sick. How can he keep a straight face in training?

Playing Matic and Lukaku will be Jose's undoing.
It was similar to when LVG was fiercely loyal to Rooney (who could not score)...which cost him his job (missing out 4th place, on GD).

Not looking forward to this. Arsenal are a good team, and were diabolical at the moment. The only positive I see coming from this match is if we get thumped, we might see the back of Mourinho. I hope we do get a win, but I just don't see it.

Arsenal should be flying from that derby win. Also, their second halves (i.e., when United usually starts playing to come back from 2-0 down) are much stronger than their first halves this season. Let's see which statistic is more reliable.

In fairness, when we are trailing, our 2nd halves are very good. We usually throw everything at the opponent and don't concede much when we do this.
Bizarrely, I don't think Jose, Carrick and McKenna have worked this out.

So, we have a weak defence? Here's an idea: how about we attack the opponent hard and keep the ball in the opponent's half. It almost seems too easy a tactic. Am I missing something, here?

Hope this is the final nail in the coffin for Mourinho.

For those expecting him to be sacked, think again. We are in the next stage of the CL and that's what the money men are looking at.
When we are out of the CL AND out of the top 4, then Jose will be given the chop.
Hoping we lose so Jose gets sacked, is a strategy which won't work until we get to Feb/March time.

If Arsenal are so brilliant and United so awful and Arsenal so odds on to easily beat us as so many United supporters think, then if Jose can get us to beat them then maybe he deserves to stay....

I completely forget that we even have Darmian sometimes but i'm assuming he will be left back and Dalot will go on the right?

    Sounds about right.

Jose has clearly lost the dressing room and once that happens you never get them back. The players are merely going through the motions at this point, just waiting for the hammer to drop.

This game has an air of inevitability about it, you can't help but feel that one more loss, especially against top 4 rivals sArsenal, will seal his fate once and for all.

Spiteful, because Pogba was awful, or spiteful because we all hate Mourinho. I would have no issues with Pogba not starting. His attitude was abysmal.

Spiteful because Jose is incapable of motivating our most influential player. Mind you, with that line up on Saturday, I would have been thinking "what the feck am I doing here" too.

There's a fair few Gunners fans at my work and they are loving life at the moment and I don't blame them. Exciting football, passionate players - remember what that was like.
I remember Christmas a few seasons ago. Going to bed hoping and waking up excited...only to find LVG was still in a job. This Christmas is shaping up exactly the same except it's Mourinho. Absolutely joyless stuff from Utd., I'm actually looking forward to seeing Arsenal more than us tomorrow.

I would fire half of them not only the manager. There needs to be a cull in playing staff, and a shake up from a structural point of view

    Nope. Just stop

I can't remember the last time I thought Arsenal would come to Old Trafford and comfortably beat us. I think they'll do it and I wouldn't be surprised if Fulham at the weekend is José's last game. I've been so disinterested that I haven't even looked at our team news yet...

What's the Man. United team news for this? Wonder who on earth's going to play in your back3/4/5 tomorrow night given the form Auba is in and I assume Lacazette and Ramsey will also start after they turned the derby on Sunday.

Would be amazed if you kept a clean sheet.....but Martial will cause Arsenal problems IF used correctly. This is sort of game Fellani usually enjoys aswell so would imagine he'll start.

Most feel United will likely lose because of Mourinho.

Arsenal are a team which only changed their manager and did not spend much. Yet the turnaround in such a short period is astounding. I am sure this fact will not be lost on Woody and the Glazers. If United lose, this background will be a clear indictment of Jose's abilities as a manager.

    Arsenal have a better team.

Mustafi and Sokratis are better than any combination of our CBs.

    Bellerin is better than Valencia.

Mkhitaryan, Lacazette and Aubameyang is a better front three than Lingard/Mata, Lukaku and Rashford/Martial. It’s no wonder they score more.

Mustafi is an extremely average footballer, and Mkhitaryan is hardly doing better at Arsenal than he did for United. The others, maybe excepting Auba, are more or less the same level. Arsenal playing better has nothing to do with higher player quality throughout their squad.

The problem is you don't win leagues by turning up every now and again to upset the form book/run of play like we did vs Juventus and City last year. You could possibly win a cup this way, but you'll find yourself struggling in the table when every game, regardless of quality of opponent, is a complete toss-up.

The most damning aspect of Jose is that we are the best part of three years into his tenure and there is not a scintilla of an idea what we'll get week after week. Draws, losses and wins are equally possible against any opponent, there's no pattern to our play, no consistency in our team selections, players in good form are benched, players in dire form start games. For a manager known as a cold calculator and pragmatist it's absolutely shocking how little apparent method there is to the madness going on at the club.

We could win tonight, we could play out the most boring 0-0 in history or we could get annihilated. It's ridiculous to go into games without any idea what will happen, apart from knowing Matic will play.

Even the queen and her corgis know the no compensation sack clause will be applied when top 4 is a mathematical no go and not before. He's going to have to pull a Senator Dale Lee Agsby to get fired before then.

Tonight is going to be the ultimate bus performance.. Arsenal to dominate and win 2-0.

The board, the players and mourinho are taking the piss if they are letting this go on the entire season. I'm not in as much a hurry to get rid of mourinho as others are. They all just need to come to a solution. Either the players and the board back mourinho 100% and work their socks off. Or they sack him and get on with it. I'm just sick of watching this team playing half arsed for 75% of the match
