First game of the week. Off late I have dreading these as often I have been left to feel dejected the whole week after a loss and not able to enjoy the whole weekend games

Glad Herrera will be back for this one.

    Martial Rashford Lingard
    Pogba Herrera
    Carrick
    Blind Rojo Jones Darmian
    deGea

The build up to this game all week on Sky Sports has brought back happy memories of what this rivalry used to be. That, with Jose now at the helm might return a bit in terms of some nastyness especially on the touch line.

That said, who else is getting tired of hearing every bloody year ex Arsenal players (Robert Pires this year) saying "Arsenal has a special team and can win the league".. it's like a broken record that keeps playing and playing the same tune.

I'd hope Young is playing be it on the wing or wing back

Absolute must win game. Although feel demotivated wathching the latest full time devils preview. Have our standards fallen so high that they predict a 1-1 and would be happy with that. Need to start quick with Martial>Rashford> Mata and Pogba behind.

If Valencia is out i hope to see :
    -----------------DDG-----------
    Darmian--Jones--Blind--Shaw
    ---------------Carrick----------
    -------Herrera--Pogba--------
    Mata---------------------Martial
    --------------Rashford---------

Jesus does anyone else feel like it's been ages since we last played? I'm desperate for a bit of club football.

Carrick has to play, so no Fellaini or Rooney please. We can't be caught cold again and if they do get one early we will be chasing shadows.

Shame about the defensive situation, because Arsenal hate to be countered. We have the pace up front if we select it. Free of injuries our team could be set up perfectly.

    Yep.
I don't follow internationals (England ALWAYS underperform), so the international break is wasted on me.

The Full Time Devils YouTube channel is awful now. I much prefer "The United Stand".

Most definitely. Swansea seems like a game last season, being from Norway I've no time for internationals. This game can't come soon enough, very happy it's an early kick-off!

Carrick will start for sure. Other certainties to start are De Gea, Blind, Pogba, Herrera and Rashford. The rest is up for debate

Properly nervous about this game now. Could be a defining moment in our season. We've not been great thus far, but if we somehow manage to put in a strong performance against Arsenal and grab the three points, it could well be a turning point. On the other hand, if we lose we'll be a long way off the top four.

Shame the kick-off time is so early. Going to have to leave home extra early and it'll be properly cold tomorrow. Here's hoping the atmosphere is electric - early starts sometimes have an adverse effect.

*Edit* Forgot to add, I hope we don't go defensive. I really want to see us take the fight to Arsenal. Rashford on the left, Martial up top, Lingard on the right. Mata just in behind picking passes with all that pace ahead of him. Herrera and Pogba in the middle.

    We need this one.

Always felt confident playing Arsenal at home but it's different now..

Debuchy played today for Arsenal's U23 so I guess it's indeed Jenkinson as RB tomorrow.

Comfortable 3-0 win for us tomorrow. Arsenal always up their game against Tottenham Hotspur because it is the most important game for them regardless of their league position. When they come to Old Trafford, they fall to pieces. 3-0 us.

I dont think Jose will vernture too far from the setup that faced Swansea. The idea of both Rashford and Martial suddenly starting, as much as I'd like it, seems extremely unlikely. Depends on the Rooney situation. I can see Lingard coming in on the left and Rooney up front, or maybe one of Rashford or Martial if Rooney is out.

Since Arse is a very mobile team I think pace will be very important:
    Ddg
Young TFM Smalling (if fit) Shaw
    Herrera Pogba
Lingard Mata (I know but quick brain) Martial
    Rasford

I have no idea what the lineup will be for tomorrow but I really hope it includes a midfield 3 of Carrick/Herrera/Pogba.

    Hoping for a comfortable win.

What's with the massive build up to this game? It's not a title decider, it's in the middle of November yet Sky are really hyping it up more than usual.

Anyway, I hope we see Carrick-Herrera-Pogba in CM. We need a good balance to the side & they should provide that.

This is normal for sky to sell the game. In reality, it will probably turn out to be like the Liverpool v Manchester United game; lifeless and devoid of action with no derby atmosphere and will simply become a "normal", fixture.

Got a positive feeling our lads will be well up for this one. All season long we have threatened to run riot in front of goal and I sense this is the game it will happen.

5-1 United with Rashers to bag a hat trick. The Cafe will be rocking and rolling once more, the prophets among us will proclaim top4 nailed on with a potential title challenge throw in, Jose becomes god of manchester, Rooney forgiven, non-believers will believe.

.....Only for us to draw with Feyernoord in the Europa league, followed swiftly by a 0-1 loss to the might of West Ham. The prophets have a change of heart as they rush to the Jose Out! thread, Rooney threatened with castration as he lays on his hospital bed cursing the invention of plastic energy drink bottles, The told-you-so's will be back in full force, Scholes will whine, Gary will moan, Eric will remain King of Old Trafford.

    Round 'n round we go.

    More than likely.

Pretty much spot on @Random Task. God help us if we get relegated, that would mean half the caf would start supporting other "large", teams.

    Edit:

I think it was weastedevil that said, if ever we get relegated, the membership of the forum would go down.
