    Can't wait for this
    Can't wait for this.

Guaranteed starters for us today are Cech, Mustafi, Koscielny, Monreal, Coquelin, Xhaka, Ozil and Theo. Jenkinson likely takes the right back spot and then any of Ramsey, Sanchez, Giroud and Iwobi for the final two spots. Hoping for the first two, Iwobi's in a poor run of form and I expect us to play on the counter, making Giroud a liability. Evidence suggests either team could blow the other away in the first half hour, or it'll be a cagey and boring draw. The latter sounds most likely.
You can't wait for a cagey boring draw?

Yeh, it's arsenal. A side that's finished above us for 3 consecutive seasons and are 6 points ahead of us in this.

Jeez, why so serious? I really don't think they're all that, I would agree that they're better than us at the moment, but not by much. Therefore I believe we have a great shot at home. Also don't think the side I put forward was too shabby, only the defence, and that's for obvious reasons. The rest is hinging on the form of individuals. Good luck pal, hoping for a great game as it'll do wonders for your mood ;)

I am shitting it. A loss to these lot will be thoroughly depressing.

Rumours Rooney starts. Makes sense. I was just about to put him in my lineup too.

Rooney likes scoring against Arsenal. Let's hope he does it again!

This is quite possibly the least I've ever looked forward to this fixture. Just wish it was over.
    Same.
I am dreading it tbh. Wish there was a way to find out the score before a ball was kicked. So I can know if it's going to be another few days of media black-out.

Not sure what to expect from Mourinho anymore. We have to win though.

Arsenal were not that great the last few weeks and without Cazorla and Bellerin. Hopefully Özil plays shit, like always against us and keep Sanchez/Walcott quiet and we win.

    Rooney AND Rashford to start
Another team news tidbit, but a firmer one: Rooney, Rashford and Mata is due to be the front three.

    No Martial again :(

It all started going down hill for us once he was dropped, even when he wasn't in good form he consistently grew into the games

    Why's that, Pogue?

Because we're a bit shit right now and Arsenal are better than they've been in a long long time. I don't see anything other than an away victory, followed by a painful media love-in of Arsenal and every fecker (on here and everywhere else) saying Mourinho's lost it, we need yet another new manager and at least half a new squad. Ugh.

He both scored and assisted in each of the games we played against you last season. Was amazing in the home game in particular.

I think it might be Rashford on the left again which never works but we still do it for some reason.

Not sure. I remember Jose's interview about Pogba's performance against Swansea -- said that he was helped by Carrick, Rooney and Mata being so close to him. I think that hints at a wide position. Although, who knows. That's where I want him to play anyway, wide left.

    VALENCIA SET TO RETURN?
The United players have arrived at Old Trafford and, interestingly, Antonio Valencia is among the matchday squad judging by the images that our official club photographer John Peters has snapped. Will the Ecuadorian start today? He hasn't featured since fracturing his arm in the Manchester derby on 26 October.

Guess we're going for the win. I am feeling like I felt on 28th August two thousand something. Bout time for a destruction of a rival.

Getting nervous about Martial. Not sure it's wise leaving him out like this.

Part of me still has hope but what you've described has become so familiar over the last 3 seasons :(

    MOURINHO MAKES FOUR CHANGES
Mourinho has made four changes to his starting XI. The aforementioned Valencia, Ander Herrera, Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford have replaced Ashley Young, Marouane Fellaini, Wayne Rooney and the suspended Ibrahimovic.
