A better united team would have trounced this city team in the first half. They are there for the taking and we were getting distracted by off the ball tussles. The refs been utterly useless. Smalling and Blind will have to be very careful in the second half. City are a second half team and they will come back. That mata darmian partnership is so wrong. Darmian has been terrible. Martial Lingard scheirdelen and Rashford playing really well. Hopefully we can score another goal as we'll need it.

Some observations from that first half:
- There has been some actual purpose in several of our attacks
- The players seem to be unwilling to help another out when pressing the opposition, which just seems ridiculous. E.g. the Smalling yellow where Aguero was stood for a good 5 seconds with his back against Smalling while at least a couple of our attacking players just stood there watching how the situation panned out instead of helping with the pressure.
- We categorically can't defend corners or crosses. The alibi footballer returns for every set-piece and we have been lucky not to concede yet.
- In a better world, we'd substitute both Rojo and Darmian; however, I'm really not sure who with. Both are liabilities.
- That was 100 % a penalty, no question about it. What kind of retardation is required for Oliver not to deem that a foul? Did he have a stroke? Seriously needs to get his head checked. Just adds to the brilliant quality that is English referees. Clueless.

Reasonable half. City still look dangerous despite being weak defensively and a bit disjointed. Rojo needs to get a handle on Navas. Fortunately Navas' end product is minimal, but he's getting a lot of joy down our left.

Nailed on penalty at the end. I hope it doesn't end up being a costly decision. It's either a penalty or a dive for booking. I just don't understand these decisions that are neither.
