Wow never seen LVG that subdued in an interview after a big win.

Do you blame him.The amount of shite the media have been saying about him and Jose's supposed pre contract is disrespectful .No matter what you think of him.

Get in! Rashford is absolutely fearless, great to see.

Big win there and hopefully we can build on it. After getting through the first 15 minutes and scoring with our first attack, we were great first half and even though we were far to deep for my liking second half, City were inept really and never really tested De Gea.

Yep I know..... it's all a shame really

Misery guts here...Great result for us and we should have beaten them at OT too - Lingard off the bar chance etc, we'd now be 4th, this win just sums up a hugely frustrating season of 'should haves' and 'ifs' because it doesn't take much for the mind to wander to the defeats to Norwich, Southampton, Swansea away, Bournemouth away, Stoke away; probably others too that I've managed to erase from my memory.

As said its a great result but the context of the season just takes the edge off it for me, sadly.

Was it really jammy though? Only clear cut chance I can think of off the top of my head that they could've scored was Aguero hitting the post which Dave actually had covered. All the other hail Mary crosses and shots were very close.

True, jammy's not the word, but we were lucky City made absolutely nothing of an entire half of us giving them the initiative and territory.

There's a few of them alright. The late Costa goal we conceded at the Bridge, for example. Those 2 points dropped would see us sitting 4th. The 3-3 with Newcastle after leading for so much of the game. The 0-0 with Newcastle. But then we probably didn't deserve to beat Watford the other day.

    It was about 3:30 am.
It's 7.30 now and I have to take my wife to work.
    I'm knackered, but happy.
Well worth it though , I enjoyed that today , think I'll watch it again on match of the day then listen to hall of the mountain grill in bed to finish off the day .

I'm going back to bed for a few hours and then I'll go for a curry for lunch. Levitation is in the car at the moment.

I get that feeling totally. I've kind of ended up feeling that we'll win whenever we've gone into 'big' games against better opposition this season, but ultimately knowing that we'll F it up against someone that we shouldn't F it up against in the very next match.

The big wins then become bittersweet because they mean nothing if we can't beat Norwich, Bournemouth etc

great win by MUFC and well done to Rashford for once again bringing the urgency to the big games. However once again a massive indictment of this season, that it takes a derby like that to achieve anything.

You only play city, arsenal etc. twice in a season. Who cares about winning those games if you continue to lose roughly half of your other games?

City now finishing their season with a manager definitely going ...Utd finishing their season with a management team on the brink of exiting....the impact on performances and results will be very interesting....for both clubs...

City have become what they professed to hate and despise.A team stuffed with overrated, overpriced and overpaid players who aren't trying a leg and don't care about the club that pays them.A perfect symbol of all thats wrong with modern football.
