Bold statement to not even have Garnacho and Rashford in the squad assuming no injuries. I’m not complaining though. Starting lineup is probably our most ideal in the moment.

When fans talk about players being 'dropped' as if the said player was first name on the team sheet. Since Amorin is only just coming near to what he sees as his number 1 starting 11 and learning more about the players. Rashford just hasn't been selected. Nor has Garnacho, these guys were never first name on the team sheet players, and they obviously havn't done enough to warrant a spot in Amorin's first 11. Bruno and Amad have been mainstays, along with Ugarte, Maz etc. Its also clear he sees Rasmuss as his main front man, atm these guys are the 'undroppables' in the 'must win' games.

Good on Amorim for taking these decisions & stamping his authority. We’ve spent too long placating players to the detriment of the club.

    Oh no, Slab Head

Good to see Rashy nowhere near the squad, surprised no Garna though- something going on there?

Shame that leaves us relying on Antony
I thought Antony did well for his standards last time. Brought some life into the game and all. Maybe he finds some opportunity today if he’s subbed in.

Good on Amorim leaving them two out. The man has just arrived and they are already undermining the new manager. Makes me angry how pathetic and entitled some our players are.

Take it you haven’t watched Man City play these last two months? They are massively suspect on the counter.
I'm not debating that, I'd personally prefer him to stick to his approach of having more control. Not soak up and hit on the break stuff

Very defensive lineup and it makes sense. Bruno and Ugarte are going to have to play very good if we hope to have some good attacks. I hope Ajax and Mount can interact well.

Garnacho is clearly out due to him and/or his brother leaking the team. The discipline has to be done and the consequences of leaking information must be ommitance from the squad, otherwise there's no incentive to stop doing it.

As for Rashford, he's likely left out to communicate the message that drastic changes are required and he has to take them seriously.

Good, Amorim being ruthless is great. Rashford and Garnacho both get told yesterday they aren't starting, then the team gets leaked. Not hard to see it was 1 of them. It coming out earlier that Rashford wasn't in the squad can't tell if that's Rashford trying to get the Rashford PR going or if it's Garnacho trying to make it look like Rashford is the leak.
Garnacho barely shows the foresight to consistently pick the correct pass. Doubtful he thought this one through as such.

Nothing behind the scenes just dropped for obvious piss poor performances and attitude on the pitch
Well then I hope it gives Garnacho the motivation he needs to be better. I've lost hope for Rashford.

I hate to say this tired reason but Fergie did it over and over again in big games? It’s not a sign of weakness, you just don’t like the style, which is your right.
That's true, we've been playing it for so long that any game it could be used scares me well just settle for it again..probably wouldn't happen with this manager however

I don't really mind leaks 2 hours before a game but a full day before the game is really taking the piss. Not convinced it's any of the players leaking it. Leaks are normally by other members of staff

Rashford not even on the bench. Ruthless from Amorim. I love it!

Good on Amorim for taking these decisions & stamping his authority. We’ve spent too long placating players to the detriment of the club.
I agree but Amorim needs to be consistent going forward.

Will he ever drop Bruno from the squad or Onana? If they deserve to be dropped and yet continue to be picked it breeds resentment.

I can see Rashford dropped for his performance levels, Garnacho more for maybe his attitude around the club going off what Amorim has said.

I’d still rather Garnacho on the bench though.

    "I pay attention to everything"

Pardon my ignorance but what does having putting your clothes on to do with it? Are they putting their shirts on first before their shorts or vice versa that Ruben doesn’t like?

Other than that, very happy with those words. His way or no way.

Fully behind Amorim to clean out whoever needs cleaning out.

Please let this be the day it all clicks!!!

Pep has decided to stop dropping Ederson for the PL games despite the clanger he dropped vs Juve the other night?

There's still a good amount of pace in the team, even without Rashford and Garnacho. The bench options don't look great but there is energy in the team still, hopefully we can hurt City.

If try that’s fine but let’s be honest other players have been just as bad and still playing…looking at you Mr Dalot!
No, they weren’t because Dalot’s issue was never his workrate and desire. It’s unforgivable to not have that at this level.
