Not really. His issues last season were not getting in position enough. If he’s creating four clear chances a game with his movement then he’s not going to keep missing. He’s a decent finisher but not elite - it’s the volume of chances which is important for him. Really pleasing to see him towering above the City defence to set up a good chance for McT as well.
Anyway, we’ll see what happens this season. My view from today is that we have three wingers who all look really sharp. It’s one of the few areas we look well stocked. No issue at all if ETH starts with Garnacho-Amad. We will need all three as the season progresses.
