Lingard is a big game player, can't take that away from him regardless of current form.We have the quality, there's no denying that, it's the system that's holding us down.
Considering that we didn't really impress our way to the top 2 last season, followed that up by not strengthening our squad while our rivals did, I'd say the current league table indicates our level of quality quite well. Especially since a couple of our more important players (Matic, Lukaku) have regressed heavily while some (Young, Mata, Alexis) aren't getting younger.

That guy is hilarious.When you watch the goal you can see how pathetic our defending was. When sterling crossed it we had 8 players in a straight line 10 yards from the goal line. fecking pathetic.
The worst thing is that United are always bidding against themselves because at the time of these pay raises, no one wants said player. But it's not our money we're told. As if wages doesn't make it harder to offload.Not sure what people are expecting from any of the front three, especially Martial and Rashford who have 2-3 around them whenever they gets the ball and are ignored in every single off-the-ball runs they make.Annoyingly we’ve done much better since we’ve stopped parking the bus.
