Chris Smalling deserves to be fined for his stupidity.McNair showing no fear. Running out from defence laying the ball off and getting forward for the return pass. Looked very assured in his defending too in very difficult circumstances. Looks a proper prospect.

Fair play sending off smalling but zaba and demichelis were also lucky to stay on.We'd have probably won with 11. At least we can now say that we're a decent team again and the gap isn't as bad.

Thank you Smalling.Luke Shaw is my MoM and I'm proud of the last 20 minutes we showed. Smalling shouldn't be allowed the first team again. I rather give the spot to McNair or Blackett honestly. I think we will dip into the transfer market in January.this defeat I am blaming 100% on Smalling if he could of controlled himself and stayed on the pitch we would of won this game, City have not been good and at times have looked very poor, when we ran at them they were scared and at times could not handle us, we have not disgraced ourself and deserved a point out of it.
