    He excites me even more than Rash did when he was coming through, which is insane in itself. We really are lucky to get both of them coming through so close to each other.
     
    This couldn't have gone much better for Ole. Its showed the obvious gulf in ability between our starting 11 and anyone on our bench. He needs backup players. It looked like a league game for the first 80 minutes, and suddenly like 2 teams in different leagues after the subs.

    Obviously it was fresh first team players against players whod played 80 minutes so a little exaggerated.
     
    The difference in quality from the subs was evident I'd say. :D
    Good to see Rashford and Greenwood on the scoresheet. Fernandes looked his old self too.
     
    Well that was much needed, always a no-win game these sorts but all you can hope for is a confidence boost for the next game with goals for your forwards who need it the most.

    I'm happy with that. Movement was very good I thought. Bailey - lingard - wan ba and fred were good

    Great win! Not the best performances before the late goals. Could have been 1-1 when Bailly and Henderson saved us.
    Lingard and Matic probably our best players before the subs, but we didn't do very much in attack.

    It was the attack that changed. I said at the start of the match that playing Mata and Lingard was overkill. They keep coming towards the ball rather than running in behind. Until the subs came on it was basically Igahlo all alone. For christs sake mata was hanging around closer to the half way line than the box in some of our attacks.

    Playing Mata and Lingard together is always overkill.

    Delighted though for Rashford to get a goal. Greenwood looks so fast as well.
     
    MOTM Eric Bailly. This guy should start next to maguire every time. Much better chemistry between the 2 and his recovery pace is so much better for a high line.
