No one gonna question why this is even a free kick?
I would rather someone do that "accidentally" to Oliver.Someone put a foot through Jota’s face
Oliver can feck off.
Amorim should be questioning these decisions during his press conference.
So pissed off, we have been the better side, De Ligt making mistake after mistake. We do not deserve to be behind.
And there is an argument that he instinctively put his arm up to block the ball which would be intentional. Even though in that situation it doesn't have to be intentional. If that had been Van Dijk we would have expected a pen.It was definitely unfortunate but I’m not sure how anyone can say that wasn’t a penalty, under the current rules. It’s about as stone wall as you can get
It was one of the more saveable pens to be fair
Yeah ok mate.
Yesterday, a ball was played off the hand. No foul. Today it's played off the hand, and it's a foul. Oliver always finds away to feck us.
The message is clear, just go into the box and hoof the ball into someone's hand. Profit.
You don't think that?
Yeah ok mate.
He was rapidly turning the other way, if you examined everyone's actions in the box people's arms would be notionally in an 'unnatural position' about 100 times a game, it's just pure luck where the ball pings when it's going that fast at odd angles. That’s not the issue. The defender’s arm was in an unnatural position. Had his arm been lower and the ball struck him from a yard away there would have been no handball.
