    Yeah, we missed a chance to bring in another Alex Telles pensioner.

    He's old, not tall enough compared to our current RBs and has looked poor for Newcastle on a one-game-per-week schedule. You're massively overrating him
     
    I would have picked AWB but still our strongest team. The more this day has gone on the more I’ve started to feel we could be one or two down in first 20 mins or so. Can’t start today like we have been doing in the league of late as one of these days it won’t go our way. Hopefully just the usual nerves pre Anfield, so I’d happily take a point right now.

    I hope our away fans don’t mention either of the H-words even if the Liverpool fans already dropped the M-bomb. Even in the worst case scenario that Liverpool win, their win can still be soured by their fecking degenerate fans revelling in people dying.

    We shouldn't be panicking no. But I really don't know why people go on about this. He's not crap, he's very good. Even when he doesn't score, he's a constant menace attacking the space behind the defensive line.

    Y'know the old "head Vs heart" thing?

    Well, with this game today, my 'head' says we should win this game (looking it objectively, status, form, etc) but my 'heart' (which has been bruised by underwhelming results at Anfield over the years) says it'll be a draw.
     
    Team is pretty much as expected. Strong team. Wan Bissaka or Dalot is really the only conversation. I would love for us to smash him but you never know in these games.

    Both Spurs and Newcastle losing yesterday has put some ease for this game. I think Newcastle will tumble down the table and Spurs will continue being 1 step forward and 2 steps back.

    The pressure is on Liverpool really. They have to win this to be in a shot for 4th and even if they win that’s not a guarantee. They’ve been flaky as feck all season. Turn up to beat City to only go and lose to some lower table team next week.
     
    Dalot is an interesting choice. Hopefully he can contribute to the attack.
