I'm confident this won't end a draw. Either United will hold out for the win or Liverpool will turn into Barcelona in the second half and win 2-1.It's all well and good to be bossing and it has been wonderful but we need to kill the game, we really need a second goal.

The only thing that's clicked is the manager realising we need to play quick football with our best technical players on the pitch and not out of form strikers.

We are playing around him. It's pointless. It's effectively like playing with 10 and a half men. If there is still no real pass on to anyone else, then it goes to him and he loses it. May as well put someone on who can do those runs, and when called upon, pass the fecking ball.

Rooney has made a few poor decisions and a couple bad touches yes. But agree about Young here. Young isn't exactly flashy or likely to create much but he and Blind have combined shut down that right side effectively, bar that one moment.

Nah. We have never held possession as comfortably in any half at Anfield as in this game. He is teaching us a new way of playing. And he is doing it with average players like Valencia and Young.
