2.30am kick off for me. Should I bother?

    Yes man, watch it.
For sure we are boring, but LCFC are exciting and will attack us hard for 90 minutes. They always score. There will be no buses parked today.
We shall also see the league's best striker up against the league's best GK.
And lets not forget its a top of the table clash!

So many reasons to watch this one.

Busy watching last years game at Leichester. We were sublime in our attacking but oh my, the capitulation was aweful. However horrible referring by Mark Clattenburg. Should never have been a penalty against Rafael.

Those were the days when Di Maria attacked with impunity.
Our capitulation proved that we were/are mentally weak and have no fight. I think we still lack grit and determination and because of that I can't see how we can handle Leicester. Their game is based on grit, determination, power and pace, which should see them through.

However, in sport and football - anything is possible and the favourites don't always win.

Met some fans on the train yesterday. They said they would prefer us losing like we did last year than, winning a boring and dour match.
I could not believe what I was hearing. I will take a boring 1-0 win over a 5-3 loss any day.

We will definitely set up defensively here and will be happy with a draw but I think we will have our job cut out for us since Leicester are very offensively and could go 4 points ahead of us with a win. I reckon this will follow the pattern of us playing it safe around the middle circle going for 0 at the back approach while Leicester will flood us with numbers on the counter.

Going for a fluke 1-1 which would be incredible result.

I think they're chatting shit. If we were 3:1 up and ended up conceding 4 more goals again everyone would be in meltdown and demanding him to be sacked.

Indeed. I think it was a throw away comment.
Once the game starts, we all want our team to win, no matter how boring we are to watch.

EDIT: And as Vardy says....Chat shit, get banged

Yeah but it's better than winning 1-0 innit.

I think after the result last season and Vardy's current form Van Gaal will be ultra defensive today and want everything to be kept tight. I think another 0-0 or they eventually sneak one towards the end.

I think the game will suit us, we always play better against teams that are open. Confident Mike will handle Vardy.

Hope it follows a similar path to Arsenal's game there a few months back. Wouldn't want to do a comparison between their offensive players and ours though.

I refuse to believe that Leicester are actually good, what they've done so far is an anomaly, and what Vardy has done is certainly an anomaly. They're going to come back down to Earth at some point here, hopefully this weekend is the beginning.

I expect a United win and I expect us to keep Vardy off the score sheet.

Agree with this. Its only a matter of time before Leicester run out of form. Hopefully its later today!

Why would you do that to yourself? I'd rather watch birthing clips than that game again

Top of the league if we win and potentially 5th if we lose, the caf will be interesting after the game.

When you wake up to a text saying that there is a greater chance in Vardy scoring in each half today than Rooney making an 80% pass completion and creating a single chance all game.

    And your reply is "LoL"

    McNair starts.

According to Soccer Saturday, so don't lynch me if it turns out to be wrong.

So if he is wrong I should go and give Jeff Stelling a kicking? Does that mean the dreaded 3 at the back.
I think you should go give him a kicking anyway tbh, he's a smug git.

Not sure. McNair will play CB, so maybe Blind in midfield? or perhaps LB with Young RB.

McNair has played RB a few times though, and I actually thought he was good there. Hard to judge. Probably in at RB for Darmian and then Young at LB? It's ruined what I thought was an 11/11 prediction.

If McNair does start, I'd have guessed:
    DDG
    Darmian - Smalling - McNair - Blind
    Basti - Schneiderlin
    Mata - Rooney - Young
    Martial
I don't even want to contemplate a three back. :nervous:
