  • Heaven is class.

They’re knock knock knocking on Heavens door, but he’s not letting them in.

Eriksen needs to be hooked. Not only is he pulling out of tackles as per usual, his passing is completely off as well. Put Zirkzee on instead. Also, Maz is not a WB.

    Eriksen and Dalot are wank
I know our bench is weak and Zirkzee and Dorgu need to get rest but it's beyond comedy now we dont use more academy players. Especially the swede, one of the worst performance in the recent history I remember from a single player. Dalot's support should also end at some point, he's just not good enough as a WB. Amorim should do something about it at half time.

United play in a way that the LCB and RCB have a lot of the ball!

Perfect way to fast track Heaven, the young lad must have close to the most touches in the first half.

    Wonderful!

It's been largely comfortable. Bruno, Hojlund (even before the goal) and Heaven have been the standouts. Lovely finish on his weak side from Hojlund and a well placed assist from Bruno. Heaven's courage is his most impressive attribute and his physicality is good too.

I don't want to be negative in a game where we are leading, but our left hand side has been rubbish. I expect that from Dalot, but Eriksen has had a shocker apart from one great shot. I accept that we'll always be defending with 10 when he's on the pitch, but his usage of the ball has been terrible. Mazraoui on the right has matched Dalot for sloppiness and could've given away a goal by now. I just hope these mistakes don't cost us because Leicester deserve nothing here.

Ayden Heaven is chipping the ball over players heads, and making vital double blocks. Whah an unbelievable signing.

Are UTD poor depending on the opposition?

What I mean is if the opposition are poor and scrappy do we simply become poor and scrappy?

I used to play snooker and if playing against a good player I would up my game and win. But playing a poor player made me lose focus and I'd often lose.

Feels like this is UTDs problem. Explains the performances against the top teams. Maybe

I'm quite confident that we'll improve in the second half. Eriksen looks more like a second half player, though. He hasn't really got the legs to start games anymore. Too many mistakes.

Interesting how I wish Zirkzee was on the pitch instead of him in that first half.

Wout Faes with the most Victor Lindelof piece of defending I’ve ever seen seen for Hojlunds goal.

Heaven the standout so far for me. Bruno and Ugarte have also looked good, and Rasmus took his goal very well.

    Finally Rasmus.
Great shot from Eriksen, but apart from that he has been really bad.
Dalot and Lindelöf pretty awful as well.
Heaven has been good again. As has Bruno.

We are bad at playing football on front foot, that's why when the onus is on us, we look particularly bad. Doesn't help we are missing a few players too.

Am I in the wrong if I say Heaven and young Rio share some similarities? Good composure on the ball, tall and strong, confident in possession and good reading of the game. I know it’s early days but he’s been great everytime i’ve seen him.

Lindelof? He hasn't been that bad, has he? Full disclosure: my stream has been in and out, but outside of that weird moment when Onana came out, I can't recall any other feckups.

There's no way anyone can convince me that Amass, a natural left sided player, would do a worse job than Dalot. Given his tendency to attack, i'd even argue he is a much better fit at LWB than Dalot is. Yet he doesn't even get a sniff. I do not understand it. Does it have to take injuries to give young players chances?

Hopefully this is Eriksen's last game. Give that time to anyone from the academy and they will provide more.

    Heaven has been phenomenal.

    Bruno & Urgate very good.

Great finish from Hojlund but his all round game is so loose. Just doesn’t have the technical ability.

    The rest absolutely woeful.

If we keep making these kind of signings we can have a new first 11 for £11 million
It why I get a little frustrated in transfer threads when people talk about spending £40m as if it’s nothing. There are still bargains out there if the club knows what it’s doing!
