De Ligt I don't see being in Amorims high line defence that will be played from the start of next season. He won't be the first player replaced but he won't be there in 2 seasons time.

de Ligt is quality and has been our best player, along with Bruno, over the last few months. He will very much be a part of the squad going forward. He is class.

I agree with your statements. He has been that good with us playing in this mid block system. But this isn't what Amorim wants to play or sign players to play starting from next season.

He's said it multiple times that it will be harder for De Ligt and Maguire to play in his preferred way. If you want to know what's coming in the future you only have to listen to Amorim.

All three CBs don’t need to be lightning fast for that system to work. He is excellent in the middle and can play a high line with pace either side. He is quality, and we would be going very well to find even a second CB of the same quality.

2014 season I think? they were already promoted from what I remember, Barnsley were struggling at the lower end of the table, and the Leicester fans were acting like they were beating Madrid 5-0
