Exiting first half. Leicester is a good team and so are we. 50/50 so far. Like what I see.

Cavani in. Martial out. This is also a game for Pogba.

Feels like this game is there for the taking but we're just off it in too many departments at the moment. Could go either way.

We by far had the better chances. Maybe they’ve had a slight bit more of the ball, but I don’t know how you can say they edged it?
Just the general play they’ve been better in their passing. In terms of chances we should have had 2 or 3 and the goal they scored should never have happened.

This could go either way..I think we have a lot more we can do, but at same time so do Leicester.

We need to be much more clinical, if wo would have been 1-3.

    • Nice assists but Bruno needs to switch on. He's not helping out our midfield at all today
    • Martial and Rashford have to be sharper than this
    • Mctominay shouldn't be playing the 2nd half. He's been awful. Replace him with Pogba even if it does pose a risk.
    • James is a nothing player and with him and Lindelof on the right, we've shot ourselves in the foot, tactically. Bit of a cowardly decision to go with those two.

How arbitrary are these added times?. I mean just the throw-in in from Lindelof earlier in the half took a minute!!
This. They obsess over trying to disallow goals for being 1 millimetre offside but can’t press a button on a feckin stopwatch to gain a remotely accurate amount of added time.

Our right side has been shite for ages. Shit right backs, shit right wingers, shit makeshift wingers.

When's the last quality player we had down that side?

It was annoying. Then you watch it back and he's not only stopped them taking the free kick quickly but he's slammed Evans

You can't really stop them tacking the FK cos they take it quickly. You're allowed to do that unless the ref blows.
And he didn't reaaly slam him. Barely touched him.

There's just nothing to build from. It's going to have to either come from a rapid counter, or a sport kick.

6/10 that half. Finally get to score first, but undo that work but giving away a cheap goal.
Didn't create enough chances only because our midfielders were focusing more on defense that attack.
Expect more from Martial and Bruno second half.

Also will need the creativity of Pogba and Donny to come in from the bench, and the lethal finishing of Cavani at some point. Would even take 2 subs right now before the second half.

We've played shite, upfront been crap, midfield getting dominated and Bailly scares the shit of of me! Shaw and Fred been half decent and James is just dreadful. This is where Ole NEEDS to make changes but let's see if he has the balls!

Seeing a lot of stick for James but he’s set us up on counters a couple of times and played the ball into Fernandes for our goal. I get that people don’t like him and for good reason, but he’s arguably played better than Martial and Rashford in general play.

Close game. McTominay needs to sharpen up a bit. Hook Martial and James at 60 mins for Cavani and Greenwood.

Just the general play they’ve been better in their passing. In terms of chances we should have had 2 or 3 and the goal they scored should never have happened.
Just being harsh. Leicester have done sod all apart from scoring a nice goal from our mistake.
We’ve been the better team for sure.

James is clueless when he doesn't have space to run in to. Pogba for him in the second half.
Good game, shame about that Rashford chance. Should have buried it.

I think Pogba in and we can take over this game

Solskjaer’s in-game management continues to look suspect so expect us not to make a change until 70+ minutes, or whenever Leicester scab another nothing goal that we shouldn’t be conceding.

Why not be proactive for once and whip off the non-performers and get Cavani, Pogba et al on and see if they can conjure the win for us? James and Martial, in particular, have been nigh-on abysmal thus far today. They have no business coming out for the second half if the manager had half an ounce of backbone.

Got no control of the midfield. James and Lindelof on the right has both been shit as well. McT and James needs to come off for Cavani and Pogba.

Our right side has been shite for ages. Shit right backs, shit right wingers, shit makeshift wingers.

When's the last quality player we had down that side?
Nani to be honest unless you count Mata?

Frustrating not to be leading at the break, Leicester scored from their first shot on target and both Maguire, Bruno should have cleared their lines for that goal plus McTominay should have closed the shot down better.

No matter how many times I watch it back I'm not sure how Rashford didn't score that opportunity in the first minute.

Looks like impact off the bench will be required to win this match.

Rashford has messed up every attacking moves apart from the goal which is expected to be converted for any half decent attacking players.

As expected, Fred and McTominay back to normal after the Leeds match. No surging runs and attacking. Leicester have been on top in midfield with Tielemans on the ball and Ndidi winning the ball the most as usual.

Our player who has seen most of the ball is Bailly and he's made 40 passes and Tielemans has made 43 for Leicester

In terms of chances we could have easily had a 2nd from Rashford's header or Bruno's header. So although we havent been on top we could have been ahead going into the break

    Why doesn’t Martial do anything?

Generally happy with the team though. It’s definitely going in the right direction

Our right side has been shite for ages. Shit right backs, shit right wingers, shit makeshift wingers.

When's the last quality player we had down that side?
The Valencia who could cross? Or Nani?

Pogba/VdB for Bruno, before he's off with a red. Cavani for Martial, if he doesn't start 2nd looking bothered. James to run his a** of for 15-20mins into the 2nd, then Greenwood replacing him to do his magic against Daddy Long Legs (Evans).

Knife edge this one. Might be decided by the superior quality of our bench.
