We need to turn up for this considering Leicester have been playing some decent stuff recently.

Leicester away at Christmas is exactly the sort of game I expect us to show up half assed and phone a performance in. 3-1.

Just for those who are moaning on about certain players who aren't even in the squad:

David de Gea, Sergio Romero, Joel Pereira

Phil Jones, Marcos Rojo, Chris Smalling, Victor Lindelof, Ashley Young, Luke Shaw

Paul Pogba, Ander Herrera, Scott McTominay, Nemanja Matic

Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata, Henrikh Mkhitaryan

Anthony Martial, Romelu Lukaku, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Marcus Rashford

This is the squad for the game.

This is gonna be a rather comfortable win.

Leicester lost 1-4 to Palace at home last week but they won 5 straight before that IIRC. It won't be easy if they show up. I just hope our players show some desire this time round as they certainly didn't against Bristol

I'm fairly certain that we'll do better against leicester than likes of West Brom.

It is going to be a tough game and we need to win this game as everyone else apart from City dropped points. We need to put some distance between us and Chelsea and keep the trying to reduce the distance between us and City

No fricking excuses. Need to turn up and turn the Foxes over. League is finished means nothing...We need to consolidate the 2nd place.

I simply can't trust this team.
I don't blame you. I'm going into every match thinking "this would be a very uncomfortable game to watch".

I'm hoping we win, obviously. But I'm also preparing for another 90 minute roller-coaster.

    This is dreadful.

Chelsea, Pool, Arsenal all dropping points, its time for us to turn up take the 3 points (however they come) and keep a bit of distance from 2nd and 3rd/4th.

I have gone for DDG, Young, Jones, Smalling, Shaw, Matic, Pogba, Mata, Lingard, Martial & Lukaku.

    Exact same team as me.

We simply have to get 3 points and kick the festive period off on the right foot.

Utd are playing terribly at the moment and have been for several weeks but grinding out results. Sadly I tune in more in hope than expectation of the players putting in a good 90 min performance and today it will be more of the same. Will take any kind of win, that’s the only thing the remaining games hold!

Expect to see Darmian instead of Shaw.
Nothing suggests to me that Jose trusts Shaw to get more than midweek outing every few months. We'll see though!

But we have played 18, won 13, drawn 2 and lost only 3. Only City and Liverpool have lost less games than us in all the league. Liverpool, who have lost 2, have drawn 8.

There really is not much basis for not trusting the team. They may not smash and grab like City, but they win better than every other team in the league.

Trusting the team not to give me a Claude like attack over the course of the 90 minutes is what I'm saying.

    Lindelof at right back?

Weird not shifting Young to RB and playing Shaw after his good outing the last couple games

Lindelof is at RB, that is one of his legitimate positions.
