    For some reason after the game midweek I'm actually quite confident today will be a comfortable win for us. Think we'll up the level and be too much for them.
     
    Same team but Sancho in for Wout. It is a bit of a shame to move Rashford from left wing but Weghorst just doesn't look like a Premier League player unfortunately.

    Not too worried about Fred, he's usually a lot better than he was last time out.
     
    We have no option but to play Fred who has not got a football brain. Unfortunately for us, McKennie and Adams do and will have him on strings again.

    He never seems to have two atrocious games in a row though. He'll have a worldie today to ensure he keeps his place, and then have another shit show in two or three games' time.

    Dearie me! If it was a “nothing team” then we wouldn’t be anywhere near the position we are currently in the league table nor have a cup final on the horizon.

    We are still a work in progress and dropped points are go to occur here and there from time to time. No team is going to go the full season winning every game.

    True. I would expect at least an acceptable performance from him today.
     
    Varane was moving weirdly at times on Wednesday wouldn't be surprised if he was rested. If Martinez isn't available either we are fecked.
     
    A game for Shaw to warm up back at CB in prep for Barcelona? Martinez is suspended for that first game.

    Warthorse starting away at Leeds is just asking for another pointless performance from him up top.

    Nah Leeds wasn‘t running in behind us. The issue was at the base of midfield.

    Above all we need to be composed in attack.

    If true, I’m wondering if ETH thinks it’s worth the risk to rest them today based on the fact rivals have dropped points this weekend, we have Barca on Thursday, we can’t play Vartinez today, thurs and Sunday. Leeds are in relatively poor form despite the result mid week.
     
    The reason I had confidence today was because Varane and Licha were behind the midfield and they’d be more settled 2nd time around.
     
    Getting 1 point out of 6 would be maddening against these.

    Varane being injury prone was always gonna be an issue but against teams like Leeds Maguire is not such a bad option anyway. But wheres Martinez?
