Really need this win now. A huge chance to cement 3rd for the moment. Can't let them swarm us early like we did the first time. Take control from the start and we'll comfortably beat them.

Just glad they’ve not had a week off to prepare.

Ten Hag will have cracked some skulls and I expect us to go at them quickly and put it to bed early to silence the cnuts in the crowd.

Arsenal, Newcastle, Chelsea, Tottenham dropping points. We need to win.

Arsenal vs City coming up. We need to win.

We should have a great chance but this set of Leeds players will be just as pumped up as the first managers bounce game. It would be us to get the double whammy.

They'll be pressing like crazy, crowd going nuts. I can see the ref allowing all sorts of heavy challenges from their players and this being another battle we come out of knackered and injured.

I'm praying for a calm game, score a couple early and control the match and quieten the crowd.

First 90 seconds of this game is the most important. If we don’t look ready for it I’ll be so pissed off.

My otherwise stressful working week will be infinitely better if we win even if it’s by a solitary goal.

How sure are we that Fred will start? I’m hoping we trial someone else in his position. Even Maguire might be worth a punt

Absolutely no chance Maguire could play there, he turns like a ship!!! Hopefully we stick with Fred and sabitzer, it’s no time for experimenting with crazy choices

Once again another huge opportunity has been presented to us to try to pull away from other contenders in the top 4 race. Will we take it? Need players to stand up and be counted tomorrow. If we end up not making the top, we will have only ourselves to blame.

Yeah we generally trip over our laces

Arsenal vs City coming up. We need to win.

IF and it's a big one we could somehow close gap to 6 points before we break for League Cup Final then would be delighted

Not a lot you can do about the midfield situation sadly. Surely Weghorst needs to sit today?

    Same team as last time.
It's time to show that the coaching and development in this team is working.
Tight game but we will win.

I would prioritise this game over the Barca one and I hope ETH does the same.

If Sancho is mentally ready to face the Elland Road crowd then he should start along with Rashford and Garnacho up front.

    ............DdG........
    Dalot.Varane.Martinez.Shaw
    .......Sabitzer.Fred............
    .............Bruno..................
    Sancho....................Garnacho
    ..............Rashford................

Weghorst has been very poor for us, and ETH can not keep playing him from start. At the same time Sancho did good, when he came on last time. So I hope ETH puts Weghorst on the bench.

Arsenal, Newcastle, Chelsea, Tottenham dropping points. We need to win.

Arsenal vs City coming up. We need to win.

Agreed. Plus Newcastle play Liverpool next weekend, hopefully the Scouse can beat them which means we can open up a bit of a gap to Newcastle.

Tiredness, lack of depth, injuries, suspensions and we play Leeds on a new manager bounce twice in one week, Leicester who have rediscovered their form are next, while there are also two games against Barcelona and a cup final coming up. Huge month for us. Hope we can cope. Thank God, everyone else around us is dropping points, too.

This game feels absolutely fecking massive to me. Must win, especially after midweek. It would be lovely to take advantage of everyone dropping points around us.

I however think it’s going to be a bit of a struggle.

Nervous about this. Anything but a big win and I'm worried heads might drop.
We've got to start better at the very least

I made the mistake of believing in this team last time and got served a shower of shite. It’s become clear to me it's a bit of a nothing team without both Casemiro and Eriksen. And neither will be present for this one. Could barely scrape a draw against them at home. Not confident at all.

I'm actually kind of hyped for this game. We have the possibility to get revenge for Wednesday and gain points on Newcastle, Chelsea, Arsenal and Spurs in one go.

Won't be easy with the players missing, but we should be winning it still.

A shower of shite?! Are you registered blind?!

We struggled at times, yes. They had a lucky second goal. But we did well to come back. Once Sancho came on we played some very good football. We had 66% possession, 24 shots to Leeds’ 8, and 498 accurate passes.

Fred was woeful, and Wout invisible. But to say it’s a nothing team is hyperbole at its finest. It wasn’t barely scraping a draw. Jesus Christ.

Not sure if there has been any leaks yet. Sancho has to start and doesn’t look like we have any other option to play Fred in DM again despite his awful performance in midweek. I know folk have mentioned play Martinez in there but it doesn’t look like ETH likes him in there so that ain’t happening anytime soon. Going to go with what I expect rather than what I hope to see.

    De Gea

    Dalot - Varane - Martinez - Shaw

    Sabitzer - Fred

    Sancho - B.Fernandes - Rashford

    Weghorst

Heaton, Lindelof, Maguire, Malacia, Iqbal, Mainoo, Pellistri, Garnacho, Elanga

    Leeds United 1-2 Manchester United

    I went

    De Gea
    Dalot
    Varane
    Martinez
    Shaw

    Sabitzer
    Fred
    Bruno

    Sancho
    Rashford
    Garnacho

Rashford is causing the most problems at the moment for opposing teams and then probably Garnacho so think having Rashford up top makes the most sense. Weghorst was ineffective so don’t see why he should play again.

I hate that midfield though, especially if Bruno and Fred play like Wednesday.

    Yeah feel the same way!

The way to go is to play Bruno deeper in the first half in a 3 so that we have more cover

All these attention seekers on twitter bug.

    ‘interesting team today (eye emoji)’
