I'd have thought keeping Rashford on the bench and bringing him on if needed would be more logical, seeing as we've seen him start a few games recently and simply just not looked right at all.

who says he is unfit ans not ready to play. every player at this stage of the season has some problems. and when ole and the whole staff see him fit enough to play and rashy decides he is fit enough to pay than its ok with me. even if there is a risk i would take it as the game today and the el should now be the priority. pl top 4 is safe, give him a rest there.

Not too many changes which is to be expected. De Gea was obviously going to come in for this as it seems he's swapped himself and Henderson in terms of who is the league keeper and who plays the Cup games.

The big news is obviously Rashford though. I really do hope he's a good level of fitness if he's out there as I'd be extremely concerned about running him into the ground.

Last time Rashford was injured, Ole played him anyway. Ended up with a season ending double back fracture. So while he may not get a new body, giving his current body time to heal isnt exactly a deal breaker is it? If not for covid, Rashford would have missed the rest of the season and the euros.

Players will always say "Im ready to play". The key to being a good boss is knowing when thats true and when its just the player being too eager to get back into it.

Rashford wouldn't be playing if he wasn't putting himself forward every time, he chose to link up with England while injured too. If his injuries were that prohibitive the medical staff wouldn't let him play.

Besides, Solskjaer's already said he won't play the full 90. Don't let that get in the way of a stupid rant though.
