Not the best performance, but a good 2-0 win and a clean sheet

Granada would get instantly relegated if they played in the Premier League.

Well not pretty but we were being hacked to pieces and getting nothing but yellow cards from the ref so 2-0 is a professional result to come away with.

This is Jose and LVG level of entertainment, tough to watch but we’re getting results so keep it going.

This has barely resembled a performance from us and yet we have one foot in the semi. Can’t say this was an enjoyable watch.
We are good at getting the job done. And i can only hope the performance is just lack of motivation due to the weakness of the oppostion

Horrible fecking ref somewhat redeemed himself by giving pen
He didn’t as we have Maguire, Shaw and McT out but we should be ok with a 2-0. Bailly, Fred and Telles in. Rest Rash for the return as well

Good win but poor performance. Ref was terrible. Falling for Granada feigning injury all the time. Karma for us at the end with the penalty as Bruno did what they had been doing all match.

I was just going to say they do what a lot of PL clubs are good at and too few Spanish sides: make it bloody unpleasant to play against them. Compare to Sociedad who looked talented and got beat 4-0.

Crappest ref performance I've witnessed for sometime and then he gives us that non-existent penalty.

Shut up moaning, you joyless shower of twats. Horrible away European night against a horrible shower of cnuts, kicked up and down the field all night, we're out of there with a 2-0 victory. Take it, move on.

Played a game with one once. They moved like this one you would get for a couple of quid in the newsagent.

    That was the jubilani alright.

Almost as bad as those feckin vuvuzelas! I had to watch the matches on mute

It’s not lack of motivation though it’s a combination of lacking quality in the final third and not being that good In converting possession. We’re far better as a counter attack and teams know that

I think we are a chameleon team. We adapt to circumstances and only turn it on when we have to.Look at the times our level rises when we are behind. In a season like this they are never going to be super intense in every game. And against Grenada...well it was like watching a shit training game. We won. Job done...now lets give Mourinho a lesson

It's not the fact that he is hurt, it's the fact that he is playing hurt while it's not needed. You and everyone else with this take need to get that through your skulls.
There is nothing to get, Marcus is vital to this team and easily our best attacker, proved once again tonight. The club would not be as unprofessional as to allow a player to aggregate a serious injury.

I disagree. We have a team that only turn it on when faced with difficulty. In the Prem we switch up when we go behind. In this we just played like it was only Grenada. And we played in second gear all game. And still won

Actually they don’t. The Leicester game is evidence. I’m glad we won and that’s all that matters right now but we’re such a nearly side

Dont think we have been a counter attacking side at all this season tbh. We concede first too many times and face too many low blocks and we never stop scoring.

Looks like the horde of result-over-performance critics have completed the switch of allegiance.
I think Mou's minor trophy haul really split the caf - there's genuine arguments both sides of playing crap but winning something versus playing great without any trophies.

It's weird it took so long for the momentum shift though, this season there's no atmosphere, likely people aren't watching the game with friends, definitely aren't people in the stadium and so your direct entertainment and enjoyment is probably even more important with so many games. The majority of redcaf fans aren't spoilt or entitled or even trying to get a rise out of other posters, they're just not happy with what they are paying to watch.

Listen, I am not going to go back and forth on a fecking subject that I voiced my opinion hours ago. I still think it was the wrong decision, a lot of others agree with me, but there are those who do not agree. We've said our piece, let's leave it at that. Happy he got his goal today.

A classic “hold my beer” match. I hope no one here wishes that we waste a vintage performance against this pathetic lot.

Does that mean you'll stop posting here?
Probably not. But it is getting to me seeing how shit we can be at times. Tomorrow's game was a borefest. Then seeing players get to a pitch who simply don't care (Martial etc.). Players who are simply not good enough (James etc.). On the other hand not giving game time to clearly technically superior players (VDB, Amad, Mejbri) or give them scrap minutes at 85min mark. It is not just at United. Whole football is loosing its charm. Rare games with any quality and energy. No supporters. Matches played as practice matches in preseason. This is BS. Thankfully I will always have memories of games like AS Roma - United 2007 in Rome away sector. :)
