Not sure if Hojlund is ready to start just yet, but I don't think they'll be huge changes. Probably something like:

Mazaroui De Ligt Martinez Dalot
Casemiro Ugarte Eriksen
Amad Bruno Rashford

Bruno probably plays due to suspension in the Premier League and injuries to Mainoo/Mount.

Could be Zirkzee or Maguire starting over whoever, but if anything we can at least attempt some consistency in starting the same players when it's possible - if we think they are probably the best player in the squad available for that position. They should have a point to prove, but I'm over it now. Figure it out and get a new manager in when we get to the international break after the weekend.

We can comfortably go through even if we lose here, so honestly, I hope we lose. Some bullshit like a win in the next 2 games will keep ten hag here, so I'll take whatever gets him sacked after the Villa game as it's not too late to save the season if we sack him now. If we wait til the November break, it'll be too late.

I generally want us to win but I can see the logic in this and I share your sentiment. We clearly need someone new at the helm (again). This ETH experiment has turned out to be a bit of a nightmare despite the 2 trophies. And the board seem intent on wishing an Arteta-like miracle here which won’t happen.

There is no need to hope we lose. We probably will anyways. I'm under the presumption ETH is gone after the next two matches so the only way he might survive is two wins but if INEOS are smart they will line up a replacement whatever the results of the two games and sack him after Villa.

I don't think they have much quality compared to Porto teams in the past. Their keeper obviously is decent, one or two others like Alan Varela in midfield, Samu Omorodion up front, that I'm aware of. But this is a team that we should be beating. Forget Ten Hag and his tactics, but even if one or two players in our attack can have a good game, I'll be confident we can win.

Saw some of their game against Bodö/Glimt and they look ok but nothing too special. I would guess they are a clear step below teams like Pool and Spurs. So we have a decent chance of, well, looking competitive at least.
