    Sometimes an opinion is stupid, yours is one of those times. If you are able to give Rashford grief for something that’s not his fault you’re simply not above criticism.
     
    That is never a red card. He was just trying to plant his foot. No malice or momentum. Absolute joke of a decision.
     
    Savage is really hating eriksen right now, he may have a point, but saying it 10 times in 10 minutes is excessive...

    Not give away a 2-goal lead in 15 minutes. That's what i'm expecting them to do. The red was a red card, even if its harsh and the penalty was a penalty. There were two fecking handballs in the box within seconds.

    Unbelievable, absolutely unbelievable. Easy game, Hojlund looking to run riot and finally an easy night. Step up Marcus Rashford who admittedly is unlucky to be stuck in that accident but has potentially ruined our best chance of getting through the group stages. There is potentially another goal for us if we are lucky but it’s looking bleak here.

    It’s not a meltdown to be fair. We were coasting it until we were fecked over.
     
    Hard to remain positive in the face of this robbery, but that first half hour was so good from of us. Been a while since we’ve played with such energy and quick passing, was great to see and we were deservingly two up before the ref decided to do silly things.

    No it is not, it was a stright red. If it was on one of our players and no red we would be raging about that.

    It is small time mentality to be constantly cribbing about refs and fixed var etc etc , it is all we do these days.

    Just trying to cover up for how mentally fragile and awful we are.

    I think the decision is right (lack of intent is not a mitigating factor as some here seem to think), but it’s essential there is a structured, (repeatable for every single case) way of showing a video to the ref. If you are going to show, say, a 10 second clip, you MUST show it from 0.00 seconds, and arguably you must show it at full speed first, and then the ref can ask for a slower replay (again from 0.00) if he wants that. That’s the only fair way to ensure the ref is not swayed by first impressions, whilst still giving him the autonomy to take a closer look if he feels it’s warranted.
     
    Absolutely ridiculous. Honestly this is just too much at this point. VAR is a disgrace, especially in the CL

    Honestly, after that opening enjoyable 30 mins, it just seemed far too good to be true that we will have an stress-free evening watching this team
     
    Referring decisions aside, our team totally lost all composure after the red card. You are 2 goals up for gods sake, just hold on to the ball and move it around instead of hitting panic stations

    Played them off the park, 2-0 up. Rashford unlucky but a bit stupid, stepped over the ball and stood on a players ankle. Red card. They score an ok goal, someone should have stopped the cross but close range finish, then really soft penalty, ball ricochets around and touches Maguire's arm which isn't really out as it's on the opposition player, there's a weak argument it altered the path of the ball I guess but proximity should mean it's not a pen. They score pen. We look like we give up, Half time. Oranges and panic stations.
     
    Our team's football iq is shocking. We struggle even on the basics and the veterans are the ones letting the team down

    It is, but a good side doesn't fold like we did in the span of 15 minutes. Serious questions have to be asked about player mentality.

    VAR is a scourge and needs to be excised from the game like the tumor it is.
     
    We outplayed the opposition and scored 2 goals but got outplayed ourselfs by the ref. What can you do when a clown like that is allowed on to the pitch.

    It is mindboggling, 4 disallowed goals, all questionable, a handful of questionable pens, red cards..
