That must be one hulluva stash of incriminating photos McTominay has on every United manager from Jose to Ole to Ralf and now Erik.

    Did Carrick ever start McTominay?

Mount was such a bizarre transfer.

Most were saying this when we were heavily linked with him. Unfortunately, ten Hag didn't see it.

What he should have done is found an Eriksen replacement. Someone who has the ability to control games, but also has the dynamism to compete in midfield.

I wonder if I'm off to my bed early or watching it till the end.. Scholes not giving us much of a chance ..

It's a falling out. Maguire used to play LCB alongside Lindelöf, no?

They keep mentioning this swap during games but it must be atleast 12 months now that Maguire has played almost exclusively as RCB. Ten Hag has said he likes his passing from there. Clearly he doesn't think Maguire should be dropped and so it is he keeping Varane out of the team and not Evans

FC Copenhagen are not that good, so we should at least win this. Fulham, FC Copenhagen and Luton. I mean come on.

man reading this you would think we absolutely dominated fulham and in no way looked like crap for most of the match and were one pinball away in the dying minutes to having a drabass nil nil draw. Shit like this is why im losing my belief in EtH.
    Same here... :/ so discouraging

We were really poor against Fulham so was expecting few mor changes. The lineup is crap but pretty much whatever lineup he picks produces the same shitty performances irrespective of the opposition.

And Reguillon. At least he's a left back and, importantly, unlike anyone else in the team, happens to be left-footed.

Don't think ETH rates Reguilons defending at all. Dalot is arguably better at left back than he is at right back and think ETH sees him as someone that can play inverted in midfield when we have the ball so gives greater tactical flexibility

Funny how he's practically pinning his hopes on Maguire and McTominay at this stage. He basically dumped half of his signings already (though I suspect some of the murmurs about Varane and Casemiro not being happy could be true).

He's fine back to absolute basics, such tells me we're as far away as ever from where we need to be (results and performances also show this).

Pre game "show" with Thierry Henry, Jamie Carragher, Micah Richards, and a cast member of Cats, is some dire fecking coverage. *and now they've added Clint Dempsey, wtf. You'd think between them they'd know something about football, but you'd be wrong. Arsenal, Liverpool, and a Man City reject to discuss United, perfect.

Favourites FC. It's becoming one of my biggest gripes about ETH especially as I thought we finally had someone who would pick based on performance
The guy is playing Maguire ahead of Varane. How much more performance based do you want him to be?

Nobody has nailed down the right flank, moving Rashford there is more a nod to Garnacho than a favouritism of Marcus.

I think he protects his players considering their play this season well. I wouldn’t have the patience. He has thrown afew under the bus who never really did much here which for standard setting is a pretty trusted method for all managers through the years. He needed luck on his side injury wise and some players to hit the ground running this season. Neither materialised. He can’t rely on a quality squad…he’s in a pretty dire spot, some of his own making recruitment wise…can he cling on long enough to put it right with his direct football in the interim…with no striker to hide the flaws..looks remote.

That's just taking the piss, though. Like we played well and didn't win off a moment. He's not saying anything convincing. Downright disappointing, even.

I don't take any notice of what Coaches say pre or post match. He isn't going to say that we played crap, which is definitely the case. He is just saying anything so he can comply with the media requirements.

Our midfield really looks poor, irrespective of who we play, we just get dominated. Hope Eriksen can give a decent 60 minutes and Bruno is more cautious.

We should never have sold Fred - or we should have replaced him better. With Casemiro out, we do not have enough strength in midfield.

Always impressed that opposition fans put some thought into banners like welcome to your theatre of nightmares instead of just writing you feck off you cnuts

A long night ahead ... but come on United!

The players might aswel relish playing in the CL while they can. They definitely aint getting into it next season...unless they win
