We could be going into this game 11 points off 4th place. That'll put us under even further pressure and I can only see another draw as a result.

Agreed. Depending on the Saturday results this game can very well be make it or break it game for us.

    ......................DE GEA
    VALENCIA JONES ROJO BLIND
    ...................CARRICK
    .............HERRERA POGBA
    .......MATA ZLATAN MARTIAL

It was hard to leave Mkhitaryan out but Mata is too good to be dropped. Our best player this season IMO

    I expect we'll see:-

    De Gea
    Valencia Jones Rojo Darmian
    Fellaini Herrera
    Lingard Pogba Rashford
    Zlatan

This has to be seen as a potential season maker. We must win and do it convincingly then get some actual Momentum going. There has been too many dwindling results and we have not shaken off the inertia that's plagued us and caused us to fail in getting a decent run going. The main concern for me this season is getting a stable team and having intelligent skill full players in attack. I think with Mata raising his game and signs that Mikhi is settling are cause for hope. I Think it's starting to click and perhaps Pogba coming back can utilise the pace of Mikhi and Martial on the end of his immaculate passing and exquisite through balls.

We have seen how much impact having class and pace in and around Zlatan can have.

    Onwards and Upwards

The thing is, will Mourinho stop being Mourinho? I suspect he won't, so he'll give Everton the first half to play around, and for that he might as well start with three midfielders.

I'd bring Pogba in for Rooney and keep the side the same, ideally. Blind for Shaw if the latter is injured.

It's extremely harsh on Mata, but I'd prefer to play with three in midfield and change formation if required.

Either Mata or Targaryan will miss out, I don't think Jose will go away to Everton with two midfielders and one of them being Pogba. If Lingard keeps either Martial or Mkhi\Mata out of one of the wing positions then I'll start having my doubts about Jose's sanity.

    ....back four
    .....carrick
    herrera..pogba
    Mkhi zlat martial

If either lingard or rashford start for this it'll most likely ruin that one hour before the game for me.

I can wait for tomorrows game, that being said I'm eagerly anticipating the game.
This is what I'm hoping for:

    DDG

    Valencia-Jones-Rojo-Blind

    Pogba-Carrick-Herrera

    Henrikh-Martial

    Zlatan

Unlucky for Mata, but a little bit more cover in the midfield is the gospel in this game for me.

The caf really is a bizarre place sometimes when you're an actual supporter of this football team.

I don't agree with that particular chap, but it's fair to say that neither Lingard or Rashford should be starting out wide tomorrow.

I mean like I'm really looking forward to the game and I'll still be looking forward to it but I'd be severely annoyed in seeing either of those two start ahead of Martial/Miki/Mata. Rashford in particular has been so annoying on the pitch lately that he really needs benching

    deGea
    Valencia Jones Rojo Blind
    Herrera Pogba
    Mkhitaryan Mata Martial
    Zlatan
Tempting to go with Rooney but he's usually not very good at Goodison and Mata's form this season has been sensational. I hope its Blind coming in for Shaw and not Darmian at left back.

Exactly my team but I'm not tempted to play a suspended player!
The idea from me is if our widemen are on form it will push their fullbacks back towards their goal which kills their width with Coleman being ao important for them.
It means (if we continue to play as we have been) that the play will be focused around the 10/15 yards outside their box, we need Mata to unlock that mess and Herrera is better further up the pitch than Carrick is.

M&M have to start in this game now and ideally we get MMM with Mata. We can attack teams and win even if we concede 1.

Carrick surely is not going to play as he had a full game on Wednesday.

beat west ham 4-1, so does that mean the team takes the foot off the pedal again?

Beat Fener, get destroyed by Chelsea
    Beat Swansea, draw with arsenal
Beat Feyenoord, Draw to West Ham
    Beat West ham.....

Very surprised so few people have gone for Everton to win.

In front of their entitled fans, a referee with form of bowing to the home crowd and having a lack of nerve, Lukaku up against Jones and Rojo.

You can say Everton are off-form, but that rarely affects teams who play United. Koeman has a good record against us too

Would have went for united until I saw Oliver was the ref.

Not a conspiracy theorist, but Michael Oliver has proven repeatedly how much he can influence games against united. Probably more than any ref ever.

Fancy us to win this one quite convincing 0-2 or 0-3.

Everton away is definitely not an easy fixture, but it would be typical of us to go there and win having dropped some very silly points recently against relatively weak opposition.

Let's do this and get December off to a cracking start.

    Fecking hate him.

I wonder what the reaction would have been if all the decisions we have got against us this year was the other way around

Either team for me. Be shocked if Mourinho brings in other players, if he does then he is clearly seeing something different to the rest of us.

Oh Harambe, give us this win please. I need reminding of what it feels like to win two in a row.

Lose this and I think we can forget about top 4. It's going to be really difficult anyway.

Miki best two games for us have been through the centre. Folk suggesting he should start on the RW. Is he any good on the right wing? Did he play there for Dortmund?

That's where he mainly played I believe. Although Dortmund did have the luxury of being able to interchange all over the place.

    Mhiky Kagawa Reus
    Aubameyang

    Hoping for this:

    ------------De Gea
    Valencia--Jones--Rojo--Blind
    --------Herrera---Pogba
    Mkhitaryan--Mata--Martial
    -------------Zlatan

If it was easier than Everton away, I would've liked to see Lingard at 10 with Mkhi and Martial either side of him. Mata's been phenomenal, but I think Lingard's defending up front will free up Mkhi and Martial from defensive duties and allow them to focus on running at defenses. Next game maybe.
