I have to say Ibra/Miki has potential to be a great combo. Although this has been a scrappy half, I think theres been many promising situations where Ibra dropped deep and Miki running.

It feels more threatening behind the back four when Mkhitaryan plays like he has the last week.

Our attacking link up play has been so poor. Pogba and Zlatan slow the game down. Mhki has no one to link up play with. If we could somehow get Mhiki and mata playing together it would be good.

Totally undeserved first half lead but we'll take it nonetheless. Awful half in general, midfield was far to congested and suited neither team from an attacking perspective. Everton players will tire though, they simply cannot keep up with that amount of pressing and when they do tire we will take them to the cleaners.

Rojo should have seen red for that potentially career ending challenge, doubt even God knows what he was thinking there. A moment of insanity of which he was lucky to escape.

Indeed. The Barry fouls don't seem to be getting any talktime. "That MUFC player should not be on the pitch"...Yeah, but what about that Everton player who should've had at least 3 yellows?

Weird that so many United fans on a United forum is obsessed with mentioning that Rojo should've been off. While that is true, so should Barry. He's deserved like 3 yellow cards. As far as i'm concerned we're quits.

You have to consider Pogba is not playing as a #10, and we're missing Mata (or Rooney) there.

I'm assuming that the ref signalled for a goal (there was a delay of about 10-15 seconds, after the goal was scored), because he was told over his radio that that was a goal.
I don't think Oliver had any intention of giving that as a goal.
Correct me if I am wrong.

Long balls are to avoid getting caught in possession, minimising risk. They know they are inferior but they are using what they have, their physicality.
