    Football will never cease to amaze. Created very few chances, yet we're ahead. Previous games we've created millions and have been behind or level.

    I'm happy anyway. Hopefully we can kill the game off in the second half.

    Damian being wrecked by bolasie. Rojo should have seen red. Ibra poor but great goal. We need to get mikhi involved more he looks sharp. Will take 1-0

    Get in. Hopefully we're more calm in that second half. Very scrappy first half, Mkhitaryan, Herrera and Jones our best players probably. Rojo hopefully will get subbed off as he is a red card waiting to happen today. Darmian not too great either.

    We've had a lot of close chances. Like as in, great runs and good positions but the final pass not being right other wise we would be making clear cut chances. Ibra and Pogba in particular messing up that final pass a lot (though playing really well other then those last passes?). Great finish from Ibra though, finally we got that bit of luck, thought it would stay out the way our luck has been going.

    Also to mention it again. Mkhitaryan is such a brilliant player.
     
    Great finish, although we all feared that was bouncing over, or coming back out!
    Thank goodness for goalline tech these days, just in case that lino wasn't up with play!

    Playing alright, limiting them to long balls, but might need to get Rojo off. Him on a booking is a worry, unless we get a second early 2nd half.
     
    Poor first half by so many players, Miki the only attacking threat. Tony and him do well, the rest needs to up their game badly, especially Herrera and Pogba
     
    We've had a slice of fortune in front of goal finally. Not that you can call being that far away from the goal in front of it. :lol:

    Really low quality football. Spending an age lingering on the ball. Passing has been dire.

    We're not great travelers. Away performances have been poor. Hope we get a result.

    Feel like it's going to happen tho, he keeps trying and trying which is what I want a no10 to do.
    Ronaldo used to drive some fans up the wall but he'd eventually create or score a goal.
    Most chances created and passes, probably lost the ball a few times getting those stats but worth it
     
    Awful half of football, Rojo and barry lucky to still be on the field, but we have the lead and that's all that matters right now, hopefully the game will open up now and we can finish them off.
     
    Scrappy as feck out there, but us in the lead means Everton has to take more chances instead of just defending with 10 men and going route 1 to Lukaku

    Everton has has been very hard to break down, but our front 6 (except Miki) has been really sloppy at times
     
    In terms of quality that was one of the worst halves of premier league football I've seen from both sides bar that bit of quality from zlatan at the end of course.
     
    Scrappy first half. Lot's of assumptions with our passing expecting Everton to just let us dick around with space. They are very organized at the back and reading us well. Thankfully we have that goal so they have to open more now, which will play well with our counter attacking intent. Mkhitryan looks up for it. Martial can do better, though.

    I get extra pleasure when he scores because of all the dumb asses hating on him. Yet again he gives them a slap.

    Rojo needs the come off before he spoils this for us because he's been utter shite and should have been sent of as it is now he is begging to get another yellow because he's constantly out of position
     
    I missed the Liverpool game, so I'm spending the HT break watching the final 15mins of that game :)
     
    I don't think we've been as poor as some are some are suggesting. Everton haven't created too many chances, but neither have we.

    Mkhitariyan has looked good, Ibra improved as the half went on. Martial has failed to take advantage of the few opportunities he's had to run at the fullbacks. Think he's made it too predictable by always going on the inside. He's at his best when he keeps the fullback guessing.

    Central midfield's been a bit meh, but my main concern is how often Lukaku is beating Rojo and Jones in the air. Rojo needs to be calm for the rest of the game and it's something I don't really trust him with.

    Lacking accuracy today but we are trying to play a faster game where the instructions are clearly to try and play forward as the first option. We will have games like this and we will also have games where we rip teams to bits. In reality we are still pretty early in the evolution from LVG's team to Joses team.

    Poor half of football all round... Mkhi our best player so far.. Pogba and Ibra need to be better
