They are at home though, so they won't have to travel much.City are more or less playing the entire team that will start on Sunday. I'm less worried.

That is a daring prediction.I'd say Schweini for Carrick is a nailed on sub for about the 60th minute or so.
BT. Only ever BT for UCL games now.

Poor decision re Lingard but LvG is smarter than me.
Fellaini's days are numbered.

Why a poor decision? I thought he looked decent when he came on versus Everton, and its good to give Mata a bit of a rest with the Derby coming up.
Looks a good team to me. Worry we're overplaying Martial but then this is a big game, so I wouldn't say I'd have gone differently.
10-9 to us will be fine'

CSKA Moscow boss Leonid Slutski: "We are only bothered about the result of this match and not how many balls [goalkeeper Igor] Akinfeev fails to catch.
"If it ends up 10-9 to us, that will be fine. We have a team with plenty of experience. We have played a lot of games against big clubs – some have gone well, some a little worse – so we're ready."
I like this guys attitude, this could be a very entertaining game.
4231 imoLooks like a flat 442 btw.
Martial looks like a brick house and I haven't noticed a sign of fatigue. He seems to be quite good at conserving his energy until he makes his move.
Not really.Looks like a flat 442 btw.
He's just turned 31. Not 39.Doesnt matter if he had a year off 2 games within 4 days is a big ask.
Darmian's probably the player who's looked the most tired.Don't know why he's decided to change the entire right flank. By all means give Mata a rest for City but Darmian is surely one of the last ones you need to worry about keeping fresh. Schweiny is the only one I'd be concerned about with a 4 day turnaround.
Wut? How is that a poor decision? We've all been crying out to see the likes of him get a chance right?

That's what I am wondering. I thought he was ahead of Lingard in the pecking order, even on the wing.Good lineup, happy for Lingard.
But what's happened to Pereira?
