    Wild that people can prefer this garbageball over the the one-touch, short pass and move stuff we played with Zirkzee in the first hour.

    Agreed, there’s a lot to like about this performance. When you are relying on two attacking youngsters to get goals you do end up in this situation. Bruno off form aswell
     
    Ten Hag has managed this poorly. His team lacks a strong mentality which is on him and his subs have made us significantly worse which is also on him. What has his subs done to the game but relinquished control?
     
    Eriksen is one of, if not our most important player.
     
    A rare good pass there from Bruno to Hojlund on the edge of the box and Hojlund just let it bounce off him straight to an opposition player.

    The subs were forced due to missed chances.
     
    Ten Hag doesn't seem to have a lot of vision. Just play the set list of players regardless of what's going on or how they're doing.

    Palace the better team since he pulled off Zirkzee. If we lose that's why.

    I think taking off Zirkzee instead of Fernandes was the biggest mistake. Most of our good play went through him before he came off. Fernandes has been playing against us today
     
    This is sad. We aren’t able to get the ball out of defence and midfield.
     
    It’s a good performance and promising for the long term picture, even if it’s a frustrating night. But it’s difficult to strap in with exciting from the long term when we’re also being held back by evidently poor game management.
