De Gea's treatment generally from refs was terrible ever since he joined. The narrative was "this skinny Spanish kid needs to be stronger" and it gave a green light for the opposition to foul him with no punishment.
But that doesn't mean our goal should stand. You can't jump into a keeper who's in the air about to catch the ball and knock him over. If we'd have conceded that goal we'd all be furious.
