I hope we take a few risks instead of

Pass pass pass pass pass pass pass pass pass concede pass pass pass pass pass concede pass pass pass pass lose

We cannot do the same thing repeatedly and expect a different result. Pardew is not an idiot, he would adopt the same tactics that have been so successful againt us in the last three games. The onus is on us to come up with a different plan. Let's lock the "philosophy" in the closet until the preseason, it clearly ain't working. We haven't been unlucky, we have been atrocious.

    De Gea
    Valencia Smalling Jones Shaw
    Blind Herrera
    di Maria Mata Young
    Rooney

The Fellaini hoof ball tactic isn't going to take us anywhere. We need to increase the tempo and try to get into the box to force opposition mistakes. 75 mins of fluffing around, passing the ball from side to side needs to fecking stop.

Have a feeling Pereira will get a start today. :)

We should park the bus and play counter attack, give teams a taste of their own medicine. It worked against Arsenal away.

Please stop the 4141, it's so awful and unbalanced, 1 CDM who gets zero help from the others. It works on Fifa when you play Real Madrid and have to fit in James, Isco, Bale and Ronaldo but other than that just terrible. 4 players on 1 line (with the static approach we have), that's so easy to defend.

Has Palace ever lost a lateish kick off?
    16:00 games: Everton A (3-2 win),
    17:30 games: Arsenal A (2-1 loss), Spurs H (2-1 win), Liverpool H - FA Cup (2-1 loss)
    19:45 games: Southampton A (1-0 loss), Walsall A - League Cup (3-0 win)
    20:00 games: Sunderland H (3-1 loss), Villa H (1-0 loss), Newcastle H (1-1 draw), Man City H (2-1 win), Newcastle H - League Cup (3-2 loss aet)

    De Gea
    Valencia Smalling Jones Shaw
    Blind
    Herrera Fellaini
    Rooney
    Wilson Van Persie

Yes a fecking diamond, it's probably the only way we'll score goals in a system without Carrick.

This is a little OT, but I can't think where else to ask.

We have gone 3 games without scoring, luckily for us it was at the end of one month and beginning of the next. But if we'd genuinely gone a whole calendar month without scoring a goal (possible as sometimes you only get 2/3 PL games per month) what would United do about their 'goal of the month' competition? That would be embarrassing...

They usually count in the Under 21/18 goals as well right? We had a few goals there at least.

Aston Villa had to cancel their goal of the month poll because they didnt score a single goal in January.

Most important game of the season this now. Reckon we scrape a 2-1 win.

God help us if Valencia is charged with marking Zaha...that could get ugly.

I'm sorry to say that I've lost all confidence in our squad at the moment...it's vital that we get a goal today.

We need to change things up, I'd line up like this today:

    -------------------De Gea--------------------
    -----------------------------------------------
    --------------Rojo----Smalling---------------
    Jones-----------------------------------Shaw
    -----------------------------------------------
    --------------Herrera----Blind----------------
    Di Maria-------------------------------Januzaj
    ------------------------------------------------
    ----------------------Rooney------------------
    ---------------Wilson--------------------------

I think Palace takes it 2-1, unfortunately

We are now entering the stage of the day where I can't do anything sensible until the match kick off.. Tick tock..

Don't understand posters. entertaining the thought of us losing this. we have no option but to win. 3-1

    I'm going with 6-0, Falcao with 4.

Just after watching our Champions season 12/13 review on DVD. 2 major differences I have noticed were; the fact we won a lot more penalties and that fact we actually made our players run at the defenders, forcing them into the foul. I do have the impression that our actual play looks more attractive now but we seem to lack pace and direct running at the moment. Depay is making a lot of sense right now... As much as I love Mata, don't think he should start today, we need pace on both the right and left.

Injured in training I assume? He seemed fine after the last the game.

Apparently Di Maria is out of tonight's game. He has that x-factor, Even though he has been quite awful for a while, he was the one player I looked forward to seeing come off the bench and hope he creates something out of nothing.
