Do not see any issues whatsoever tomorrow. I see an easy 3-0/3-1 victory. Palace are the team in the league that have been on the beach for the past couple of weeks now. This will be done by the 60th minute and then Ole will sub and rotate to see the game out in preparation for Sunday.

There’s definitely going to be a drop in quality going from Greenwood to James in our front 3. Again it goes to show how poor the quality of depth is in the squad. Whether it be Sancho, Chiesa, or Torres, we need to invest in more options up front.

When they have played they haven’t done much, I’d rather us play the same midfield. I expect us to have a lot of the ball I don’t think we McTominay and Fred for this game. Maybe one but not both imo.

I think it will have done him good to have a long rest to be honest. He was obviously overused and you could see that.

I think we will see him do better as more of an impact sub/rotation option rather than a starter every week.

He has two good years there, scoring 13 goals in 26 appearances that year, and scored the Goal of the Season the following season, and he's got a Stand named after him at Swindon Town where he made his name ....

I'm weirdly cautious about this match.
I fully expect us to win, and to be honest, we've been nothing but good since the break so no reason to be, but being so close to the end and so much to play for, one slip up is all it takes.

Southampton were playing well, it was always going to be a tough match, and along with some unfortunate finishing and being unlucky to go down to 10 men, I can't really complain.

This should be a much easier match to be honest, but the pressure is well and truly on

Really hope one of the LB’s are available for this. I can’t trust Dalot there. Looks more likely to be Williams than Shaw. Gutted that Greenwood is a doubt. Hopefully he makes it but if his injury hasn’t 100% healed then I’d rather not take the risk just in case if one of those Palace cnuts targets that same ankle. Speaking about Palace, even though they have lost 5 on the bounce, they beat us earlier in the season and came into that game on a very similar poor run of form. Definitely not one to write off. I think it will be a tight game but one that I’m confident we will win. Reckon there will be 2-3 changes to the team.

We should play only one of them. Play both and we would struggle to control the game or progress the ball forward

Palace under Roy is usually quite resolute for the 1st half. We start matching them with Scott and Fred in the 1st half then go for the counterpunch with Pogba and James in the 2nd.

Why none has suggested trying Fred on the right ? He's fast, decent dribbler and has a decent left foot. And he has great stamina. At the least he can't be worse than any of those Mata, Lingard, James anyway I think.
