I suggested Dalot as the RCM in a diamond but didn't think it would happen, shame Greenwood isn't on the bench instead of Chong and I feel bad for Pereira getting dropped for Fred.

Hopefully Fred shows what he's about, we need him to step up and do a job tonight

I think it would make more sense if it was Young on the wing. He has played most of his career there.

Are we sure the picture of Greenwood and Gomes was taken at Selhurst?
They'll have gone but won't have made the final 18. A lot is made of Rojo being in the 18 today like he's just returned from injury but he had been traveling with the squad for the past few matches - just didn't make it into the 18 until today.

Right Fred, get your finger out lad. Hope Garner and Chong get a run out.

Obviously a patched up starting 11, which is a bit worrying but hopefully we can still win.
Hopefully we don't need to use Rashford.

Good to finally see Fred in the lineup, hope he has a great game.

Unsure about where Dalot will play. RW? So far his attacking qualities have been better than his defensive so I don't complain really.

Will be a very tough game, but I hope we end up getting the victory.

10/11 I was thissss close to putting in Fred, but thought Ole would stick with the midfield from the weekend :(

United starting XI vs Palace confirmed
Starting line-up: De Gea; Dalot, Lindelof, Smalling, Shaw; McTominay, Fred, Pogba; Sanchez, Young, Lukaku

SUBS: Romero, Bailly, Rojo, Garner, Pereira, Chong, Rashford

Thanks for posting the text, half the time the tweets don't load on the browsers I use!

I think the only decision to be made is whether Dalot gets a slot in the front six, otherwise the team almost picks itself: best back 5 + only available senior front 6.
Got this one! 10/11 with Dalot being the only expected item of interest. I suspect some sort of 4-4-2/4-4-3 hybrid with Pogba focussing on the left and Dalot right.

Fred starting is the surprise we didnt know we needed. Man of the match performance from him today. quote this tweet by the end of the game.

If Rashford was fit he wouldn't be on the bench so hopefully Ole will keep him there and not have another incident like Lingard

Interesting to see how they start

Assume a 433, with Lukaku central. He has been dross as the central striker all season, so a worry. Hope it's Dalot as the attacking right, not Young.

Would have preferred a diamond with the players available and Gomes as s bench option (minimum). Little bit disapointted and hope OGS has the sense to change it quick, if it does not work out.

To end on a positive, glad Mctom starts, while Chong and Garner make the bench

Doesn't it make more sense to just play Chong? Not like Dalot is experienced in that position either

Dalot and young on the same wing should really help neutralize the threat from zaha.
