Memphis brilliantly set up Rooney for his first goal of the season after 20 minutes and it's been another open contest, with chances for both sides. Diaby in particular had a great chance to equaliser before half-time but Romero saved superbly in the one-on-one.

Give him a chance, it's his first start of the season. We were lost without him in a midfield 2 last season..When Herrera gets subbed, it will be interesting to see if it calms the play down.Wouldn't say no to a Fellaini sub, midfield looks a bit weak. Ander is off the pace and Carrick's poor start is continuing.Pretty dire performance as usual nowadays. Shaw and Darmian are both continuing to look like brilliant full backs.Herrera, Carrick, Adnan very poor.
