To be fair, De Gea can single handedly keep us in the game. A good shot and Romero can be beaten, whereas players generally need to be perfect to score against De Gea.

True but it's not like we are the underdog tonight and it's hopefully not going to be all about our goalie's performance.

Yes, Chelsea may have a better shot with no DDG but I'd still have us as favourites De Gea or not.

Rashford is a media darling already. Not McTominay. Did you not see Gary defending him over Martial on twitter? He was even called out for it.

I am not fantasizing anything. From a cultural and financial perspective (we save quite a bit from not paying Monaco for more of Martial's future achievements), it makes sense to offload Martial. From a sporting perspective, no.
